    I agree! But for anyone who feels overwhelmed by the idea of planning, I'd like to say it can be easy if you keep it simple. I don't make a lot of new recipes; I repeat favorites. And I prepare ingredients for the week, not meals. Like you said about always keeping frozen veggies and some kind of grain on hand. So the only planning I do is picking out 2-3 recipes to make each weekend for the week ahead, and also cook a grain and sauté some veggies. Then, all week long I mix and match.

      Yup, you don't need to plan 16 meals, just plan 3 with some leftovers 😁

    Heck yeah, that book sounds like my jam! And you're totally right, this is such a superpower.
    I'll add one thing and that's to always think about doubling a recipe that you make up and freezing it. It doesn't take that much longer to make a complete second batch of West African peanut stew that goes into a freezer bag and you pull out in an emergency in 2 weeks when you don't know what to have for dinner.

    You are so right I need to plan/ meal prep because I always have stress about what to make and I’m a little lazy sometimes

      @@KyleKranz Not good but I’m going to start following The daily dozen and portion out those items ahead of time, I guess that’s a start!

      @@suzannemccabe386 download the recipe book he mentioned and pick 3 recipes to make within the next week, double them and put them in the freezer in some freezer bags so you have some for later too 🙂

    I could never stick to a healthy diet until i became ethical vegan and saw how much the innocent animals had to suffer for some ice cream or cake. Now im not even tempted by any junk food filled with animal secretions like cows breast milk or hens menstruation. Eating whole food plant based has become a pure joy 😊💚💛 i do bake my own cake using healthier ingredients and enjoy eating delicious dark chocolate thats healthy for you 😋The thing is your taste buds change when you stop eating junk food and saturated fat laden flesh. My favorite "meat" is now mushrooms and tofu - they can be cooked in so many ways and just soooo delicious too (and i used to be a rare steak/sushi person !!)

      Yeah, the animals have always been a driving force in my wfpb/Vegan lifestyle. I encourage any wfpb people who are having doubts to watch dominion or earthlings, because it can really help inspire you to continue this way of living.
