Dito lang naman kasi tayo nagpapadala o nag reremitt ng pera, at sa oras ng kagipitan, dito rin tayo nagsasangla ng mga natatago nating mga alahas. Kaya naman paniguradong limpak rin ang yaman ng owners and founders of Cebuana Lhuillier at M Lhuillier. Sila lang naman ang Lhuillier family- The Pawnshop Royalty of Cebu.

We sometimes see Ms. Amparito Lhuillier in Ayala Mall here in Cebu, shopping, carrying her own bag. No yaya or bodyguard. Very simple and truly Cebuano.
They are D most down to Earth rich people in Cebu. I used to work as a housemade before, and The House were I work was next to Lhuillier House. Lahat ng mga katulong nila pinapaaral, pati hardeniro, driver , lahat sila nag aaral. Tinuri nila na parang familya mga katulong. At sila din yung tipong rich na D palagi nag papalit ng mga sasakyan or nag papa ganda ng bahay.
Mga kapit bahay ng amo ko dati mga nag may ari ng mga iba’t ibang negosyo tulad nalang din ng may ari ng Supicio Lines, Aboitiz at at iba pa. Ang Maria Luiza Village ay isa sa pinakamaraming nakatira na mga Business tycoon ng Cebu pati na Larazabal asawa ni Donna Cruz, at marami din mga Japanese na may bahay dyan. Pati sila Claudine Barreto dati may bahay sa Maria Luiza din. Sila Matteo Guidecillie sa Maria Luiza din nakatira.
Si ma'am Amparito ay napakabait at down to earth, grabe. Hindi tlga sya maarte gaya ng ibang mayaman. Nawitness ko yan noong naadmit nanay nya sa hospital.

You need money to pay for a sick child’s hospitalization, you secure a loan from them with your gold jewelry appraised at 30% of its value. Then, you pay 10-20% interest on the money you loan every month until you pay it off. If not redeemed after the term, you would lose everything. How can that be fair? So many Filipinos unwittingly fall prey into this and drove them deep into poverty.
