Dude, I've been watchin you since 2018 back in my freshman year of college and now I'm working as an RN in the Neuro ICU and I'm still coming to you to learn. You're a true gift to this planet. Thank you Professor.
I remember watching your videos in my first year and it was right before my final exam. I am graduating next year as an MD and I still think this is the best educational channel on RUclips. You and your team deserve so much more. Thank you so much
I’m a practicing physiatrist in the Philippines and I’m currently reviewing for diplomate oral exams. I’ve been reading our book about stroke syndromes for half a day now and somehow I can’t remember anything after I finished the chapter. Just an hour of your lecture and I understood stroke syndromes. Thank you guys for simplifying difficult lectures. Keep it up, Zach & Ninja Nerds staff! 😊
quickest hour of my life well-spent. I am currently in grad school to become a speech-language pathologist, and you did an awesome job of describing the function of Broca's and Wernicke's area and the aphasias that can result due to brain damage. Thank you for that! You will single-handedly be the reason I pass neuroanatomy.
You made a whole day worth of lecture understandable in the span of 1HR and 16 mins sir. thank you so much for this. Im currently taking a 15 minute break before proceeding to the basilar artery syndrome and just wanna say my appreciation for your existence and for this free lectures. Currently prepping for my NPTE and your lecture is definitely a God send blessing.THANK YOU SO MUCH
…you sir are a genius! I had a stroke in 2015, I’ve learned more from your lectures than all the doctors could tell me. Admittedly, they would have ‘dumbed down’ their communication to the masses level but nonetheless, I needed to know more and understand more. I’m much better now having recovered upwards of 98% of my motor abilities on my left side. Now at 64 years I’m still keen to regain the other 2%. Keep up the great work!
This is absolutely the best comprehensive presentation for the A+P re the pathophysiology of CVA types I have ever seen. Had an RNC in inpatient obstetrics, retired now, and a senior w/some of such aberrations re MRI findings. WOW!
God bless you guys You don’t know what and how valuable you have been . You will go down in history of medicine for the amazing and selfless work you guys are doing
It’s amazing how the human body is studied and how anatomist biologist and scientists are able to understand how all this works. It’s simply mind blowing.
I guess there is some issue with video clip part explaining pca syndrome as it just explained about homolateral homonymous hemianopia and straight jumped to midbrain syndromes somehow the thalamus position was just not explained at all
Been watching your videos since undergrad and now about to sit for the NPTE, needed a solid review of stroke pathways and expected impairments. You rocked this! Thank you!
I just adore you and your content. I am a measly paramedic, but I love to learn and know things. So much of this information translates to prehospital excellence. I refer ALL my students to your content. Thank you!
Great lecture as always.. Missed discussion on the thalamus though but the rest was great. Even with my incredibly short attention span, I was able to listen to the whole thing without spacing out, which is saying something. :) Thank you!
This is a masterpiece I must say.. The simplest and the most concise way ever to describe stroke syndromes. A huge fan of yours❤️ Love from Pakistan. Keep inspiring us with more content👍
This one really rocks!. I am gonna buy a credit card next time I am out and joining. I was at a loss on how to learn this for my exams. This talk saved my life.
i rarely comment on any video but Zach you are a BEAST thank you so much for your efforts in this video, seems like uve put so much work in it may god bless you
When he started talking about "prosopagnosia" watershed that disturbed me a bit, considering the fact that once I developed epilepsy (the first year) whenever I had a sezuire that fit the temporary senerio. I literally couldn't tell the difference between a human and a broomstick..... luckily that senerio doesn't fully happen anymore
Dr Murphy; an excellent presentation. One question: on your discussion of mca I did not get your mention of lenticulostriate artery and the internal capsule. Cortical branches would cause monoplegia and the striate would cause hemiplegia.
Thank you soooooo much! I got no words to thanks you! Much love from SL! You are truly a life saver! Im just weeks away from my finals and this really helped me out
In 2020 i had a right side MCA stroke (M1 segment). My neurologist said i lost about 24% of my brains mass. I'm very grateful I not as messed up as i could have been. But I still have a lot of post stroke issues. I'm watching this to hopefully learn what exactly happened to me and if the various issues are stroke related. Thank you for the information. P.S. I've seen my MRIs. A lot of large white areas but im trying to figure out what was effected. I dont have the time or money to go to my doctors.
You Sir are absolutely phenomenal. The passion with which you teach and your efforts with all the amazing diagrams is something I am so grateful to you for, it will stay with me all through my doctor years for not just me but so many other doctors. You are really helping make a difference to our education and our future patients so thankyou, forever grateful to you and your team

How do you know it’s 2 % and not 3 or 4 or even 5 %
How do you calculate ?

This is exactly how stroke syndromes need to be taught! Hands down, no other method and/or video comes close!
I learn more from you than my medschool profs, honestly. Thank you!!!
It’s amazing how the human body is studied and how anatomist biologist and scientists are able to understand how all this works. It’s simply mind blowing.

I watched dozens of videos of yours throughout med school and this one has to be your best. You made a very difficult topic very simple.
you are gold standard as far as teaching goes. love this video
Absolutely amazing, I finally get it after several failed attempts...way of breaking things down and visuals are genius level, thank you.
I've been watching since beginning of medical school and now I'm going to be neurology resident next year. Still one of the best resources!
Thank you!!! I've worked in Neuro ICU for years and this is the clearest, most comprehensive explanation I've come across.
Thank you so much sir. I was able to pass the board exam because you are a best teacher and the way you explain the topic is very easy to understand
This came in time!
Been watching your videos since undergrad and now about to sit for the NPTE, needed a solid review of stroke pathways and expected impairments. You rocked this! Thank you!
Just amazing how you can simplify the most complex issues! True gift!
Dude this is ART honestly, the drawings, the presentation !! Wow no one could have done it like this ♥️♥️

Thanks professor Zach for such a systematic presentation. More 🔥🔥
This is a masterpiece I must say..
The simplest and the most concise way ever to describe stroke syndromes.
A huge fan of yours❤️
Love from Pakistan.
Keep inspiring us with more content👍
I am a recent stroke victim trying to figure out how and why I have "forgotten" how to sing, a skill I learned in infancy ... so I can re-learn it.
I can't even say how helpful you are during my years of medicine, thank you so much for your work!
Thanks for your patience teaching everyone...
God bless you and can't thank you enough
helping me so much with Pathology and biochem, you are a true artist at what you do.
This one really rocks!. I am gonna buy a credit card next time I am out and joining. I was at a loss on how to learn this for my exams. This talk saved my life.
That should absolutely be the best video on RUclips! Man you are such a genius!
You're a god send. Tried so hard to learn on this on my own. But one video of yours explained the entire concept to me.

Why does the PCA syndrome part get cut out when watching. The thalamus part seems to be skipped
Try moving the window to either right or left side 😅
