I am actually surprised how low the bully and especially the teacher took the stereotyping, self harm is NOT something to be joked about, and if people do suspect that someone does self harm, they should talk to them and get them help as soon as possible!
Also, even worse is that self-harm I treated like a psychopathic thing in this video, When really typically it’s a result of depression or other mentality damaging personal problems, not being a psychopath.

Agreed. I tend to emphasize with teachers a lot b/c she deal with so much crap from defiant students, and delusional parents on top of their regular tasks like planning lessons and grading papers.

As someone with an alternative style, it's hard to attend school. People think that I dress that way because i'm sad but it's actually the opposite, it makes me happy and feel like myself. I had an emo friend in high school, but people made fun of him because of what style he like to wear every single day like the video. He still wears the same style today and I don’t have a problem with that. We are still friends today. He’s a super nice guy if you get to know him. Ive been bullied the same way but for a different reason but still the same way, its so refreshing seeing the bad result come to Rose. I wish Dhar Mann stuff could be just a but more realistic, because in real life my bully actually got the good things instead of me.
Yup, I was, bullied and gossiped about on the school bus, I was bullied, I was picked on in school and noone was helping or protecting me...I was too scared to stand up for myself. Now, I'm 30 years old and speak my mind and I will always learn how to stand up and defend myself.

Same here. They've never been judged at, but I have 2 good friends who like to dress emo style, and I personally like them for the way they are on the inside, even when I first met them. Eventually once I got to know them, our friendship grew.

Also, here's a reason why Mrs. Savage was not truly sorry: You're aware there is a difference between being sorry for what one has did and being caught. In her case, she was sorry be she found herself wrong about her judgment, and it took evidence to prove when she shouldn't have been so quick at all let alone let another student off the hook. Therefore, she was sorry for her defeat, which is as good as getting caught.
And who is to say she won’t do the same again?

I'm a former emo girl and I've been bullied like this so many times. People bark at me, yell at me... one time I even got thrown down the stairs at school and everyone laughed their @sses off. But I've always known they do stuff like that because they're just jealous of you and want attention. It's crazy. I couldn't stop furiously crying when Rose said, "did the psych ward give you those bracelets to cover your scars?" My cousin struggled with depression (diagnosed by a doctor) and self h______g. Honestly, even if that was a line, that wasn't cool of Dhar to put in the video. That could honestly hurt someone, like me who's had someone struggle with that. You're absolutely right! I really love Dhar Mann but i agree that he could've left that out even if it makes the video more realistic. But maybe he could've let Rose say something different to make fun of the girl that's not triggering for some people

I totally agree! Dhar Mann's whole thing with the channel is content that teaches you something and is spreading a positive message, it's really not great that they don't have trigger warnings, because some of these topics ARE sensitive. Dhar Mann's content used to be family-friendly and the kind of thing my little siblings would enjoy too, but I get that now it's moved on to an older audience, which is fine, I guess, but there still should be trigger warnings.

the channel itself has such a wide age range. I mean, i watched one of his videos a few days ago which was about kids going trick or treating and then a man comes up to them and asks them if they want candy, and the kids go with them. the message of that was not to accept candy from strangers, or about stranger danger and I'd say that was aimed at kids aged 6-9. Other videos are about mature themes that some people can be quite upset about. I mean, the channel has gone on a rollercoaster, spinning between different age groups, touching on different themes... earning parents' respect then losing it multiple times. Dhar Mann isn't family-friendly anymore... which is fine, but I wish they'd make up their minds.
I am not a hater of Dhar Mann, and I respect the inspirational messages he is sending to the world but honestly... my respect for him is just slightly less, because after all of the changes the channel has gone through, I really don't know what to think anymore about it.
