Ryan is the man. Bought my Radius 2 in 2017 and haven't looked back. The workflow, simplicity, attention to detail, and musicality is unmatched. Ryan personally emailed me when I was in the market for a new mixer, answered every question I had in great detail, and inspired me to make the leap. Agree totally on the simple workflow making you focus much more on the tracks and what everything sounds like. I get button overload and flashing light anxiety using any other mixers now 😅

Think your right, simple mixers like this force people to really think and feel what they are actually doing rather than just badly dancing around some multi coloured flashing lights. You gotta respect the music your messing around with and do it justice.

Just a great video. You speak my language. That mixer sounds fantastic, it makes my Rane TTM56 which I love, pale in comparison. I've played on ARS, Isonoe, Urei and Mastersounds and love them all, MS definitely fits my budget the most though, especially living here in Brazil. What would be ultra interesting, would be a 2 line fader version (no x-fader necessarily needed) of the Radius 2, keeping everything else in tact. This would give the Formula Sounds FF 2.2, a run for its money. Probably, this proposal would create an unfeasible challenge on the existing design, but would definitely make my dream of a line fader with pristine sound quality with built-in isolator, FX loop, in a 2 channel compact package come true, and I might not be the only one.
This is what i would call "Organic" mixing, and i love it!
MasterSounds should try to get their own take on Pioneer DJM's "Spiral effect" it's a killer, makes echos sound great with a bleeding effect without overtaking the overall sound.
Implement it in a new iteration of FX 8 and you will have a best-seller for sure!
can’t wait to get my radius 2 (which i’ve just ordered) the hpf mixing is so appealing to me. Had one filter on the xone 23c so two is gonna be dreamland 🙌

Great Stuff. Sadly didn't make it for the 1st batch but I'm on the wait list for the batch 2. It would be great to have the FX unit match the new faceplate style. I can see the font has slightly different weight and colour is different now.

Does anyone know the manufacturer/model no. for the backlit switches used on the Radius? Mine need replacing on the FX unit after a year and a half of light use. Had my radius 2 switches changed under warranty but sadly my FX unit is out of warranty and MS are advising quite significant repair/spares costs.
Does the radius 2 have a better preamp than the djmS7 phono preamp?

For a video talking about sound you can hardly hear Ryan in many parts of this.
Ah, sorry to hear this, it's a bit of a fly on wall vid, no script, just Ryan chatting, we felt that popping a mic on would ruin the flow and make it more video esque, so we just pressed play and Ryan chatted :-)
I'm interested in the Radius 4v with the crossfader..totally stayed away from DJ mixers with internal trickery..
