For those who think Selezneva & Makarov should have won there is no way they were going to let the #3 Russian pair beat the #1 Russian pair right before the Olympics. They would have had to melt down far worse than this for that to happen.
This is the World’s Championship. They did the same program the same outfit in the 88 Olympics. Katia made a mistake she was angry at herself Love them anyway. They are human 💕💞🩷⛸️⛸️🙏
They only won on a 5-4 split. IMO they shouldn't have won and it was to protect the political standing going into the Games. The #1 Russian team losing to the #3 Russian team (with the #2 Russian team out of the event altogether) would have thrown things into a wild loop going into the Games and the judges simply did not want that.
I love the way Sergei places his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. I just melt seeing how sweet he is to her. So beautiful and so romantic.

На этом чемпионате сильнейшими были Лариса Селезнева и Олег Макаров. Непонятно почему их лучший прокат не был достойно оценён.
Ну и за что здесь первое место??? Два выброса с ошибками и другие ошибки в прокате???
