In the background of episode 2 of hazbin hotel we see an item called the love potion made by velvette. Valentino is on the poster as well, but why is he there? Twitter user dantekris created an amazing theory about this and i’ll break it down.
We see this love potion in angel dust’s room and one of the shark demons tries to pour it into angel’s drink. It has the same smoke effect as valentino’s smoke.
Valentino is commonly seen drooling with his red saliva.
When he smokes a cigarette the smoke goes from grey to red. After val kisses angel, angel becomes dizzy from his saliva.
Moths and insects also have pheromones, valentino is a moth demon.
If we combine this all together, valentino’s power is his saliva. It makes people dizzy and it’s the poison angel sings about. Velvette then made this into a “love potion” using valentino’s saliva.
I think it’s ominous that all 3 of the vees have powers to brainwash and control people. Vox with his voice and eye, valentino with his pheromones, and velvette with her social media.

Is likely Val's poison just doesn't affect her and it would likewise be useless when used on normal angels as well. The power hierarchy is also about their demonic and angelic powers, not just societal power. If Charlie really wanted to she could kill every single sinner in hell and no one could stop her unless they used an angelic weapon like Carmine did to kill the exorcist.

It could also be a callback to some moths being incredibly toxic and poisonous, and it would make sense why Valentino wears colors of bright white and red, its a way to warn people of his chemical weapon to deter them from trying to mess with him in the first place
We also see that his giant cape is literally a pair of wings, so it's also just natural.
Not to mention him having a mouth(as a moth, not considering the former humanity) means that he likely kept the venom that msot moths lose by adulthood. It might also be noted that moth dust(the powder on their wings) is often an irritant and could potentially be a more discreet method of applying his toxins.

If you think about it, all 3 of them are dependant on each other in a way.
Without Vox's technology; Velvette wouldn't have the social media she uses to influence people. And her connection to Val who is a famous adult film director makes hell's denizens see her in high regard, giving her that popularity she needs to spread her influence
Val's studio gains popularity online due to Velvette's influence on media and by extention the technology Vox makes (akso it could be that the tech they use for recording the films is Voxtech appliances). Along with this, Vox is the one that normally keeps Val in check and stops him from making dumb decisions
Vox depends on Velvette's social media influence to popularise his tech because her promoting it will make people want more. Thus spreading his influence. And if his tech is used to produce the adult films that Val directs; the quality of the films would make others want to buy Vox's tech.
They all depend on each other and in a way are all the backbone for the other two.

The other two have particular enemies they focus on, and are genuinely scared of/ scared of losing, while Velvette seems to be unafraid of anything, even other overlords- at least, that's how she presents it. It could be a false façade, like social media tends to be.

I actually think that that’s a little weird since he is one of the original sins about Lust do technically he should also embody non consensual lust too. I feel like the drooling is a sign of them using their powers. It's probably an exertion of power since most sinners don't have nearly as powerful powers like the overlords because they don't have many or any souls. Alastor has been seen to drool as well but only when we see him as a sort of Wendigo.

The way he licked Charlie as soon as he met her is gross, but now knowing that his saliva controls people, he was trying to brainwash Charlie the first chance he got. Only seeing Valentino for only 2 episodes, that seeing how evil he is.
I like to think that occasionally Asmodeus WANTS to go to the pride ring bc of that being the source of the love potions (so he can beat and kill whoever makes it) but from the fact this is hell, i doubt its the first time a love potion has been made. Hence he is not allowed to by Lucifer.

So basically, from what I understand, the three Vs symbolize manipulation in some sort of way:
Valentino: Coercion (AKA: the act of forcing someone to perform certain favors until they eventually cave in-mainly by using threats and/or emotionally manipulating the victim, and in Valentino’s case, it’s sexual)
Vox: Brainwashing (I mean, his company basically has control over everything in terms of technology and uses it to his advantage. Note how Vox’s influence is cultish, and what do you know? Cults are often formed around people finding ways to brainwash people-whether it’d be installing fear into them or simply showering them with goods.)
Velvette: Influence (specifically social media and the negative influences it can have on people-ie, beauty standards, bullying, certain trends, the need for fame and money (for some people) and how it eventually corrupts them, etc)

Now I also think that Valentino is using it on Vox very often. Even more than Angel because Vox is seen with two pink line going from his mouth and is same color as Valentino's saliva. It would also explain why Vox is keeping up with him. Vivienne also explain that He and vox have a love-hate relationship so Valentino is using his saliva to not lose Vox.

There is a type of moth in Africa that is called a "Piss mot" translating into pee moth that leaves behind a transparent Liquid that when it drise it turns into a whitish yellow powder like sustenance and when the moth "pees" on you it will cause a painful rash and blisters (and this has happened with me before)
