Not to mention I doubt they had a whole food truck for her to chose her ingredients from when she "just found out" with what and where she'll be cooking. Her ingredients weren't typical, she had this planned. I enjoyed it anyway, but they dont have to go out of their way to be insincere 🤷♀️
I love this series however, how did she know what ingredients to bring with her if she didnt know where she was cooking or what with? Like the fire roasted egg plant? How was that decided on the spot if she already had the ingredient. It's super confusing.
They must have told her beforehand this time. Otherwise it would just be terribly wasteful to drive an hour into the woods for the opening shot, then drive back to get ingredients and then drive out again to do the actual video.
She had to have some idea of what was going to be asked of her to have picked out the ingredients. It's not like they could drive out there, show her the campfire and then have her pick out the ingredients that someone would have to go get.
The fact she did kofta and cooked eggplants in camp fire brings back so many memories of camping and my dad. We also used to cook potatoes same way she cooked the eggplant

soilgrasswaterair you blew this totally out of proportion lol
Danielle Wellen thanks for sharing the context I was missing....this is my first episode🙂
Alexis is just such an amazing chef!! I love this entire season. You go girl! 👏👏👏
CAN THIS CHEF MAKE A 3-COURSE MEAL WITH A CANDLE?
Yes, seconded
Even better yet: *_MATCH STICKS_*
Level 2: birthday candles
Me and my friends actually tried making popcorn using a candle and an empty can.
Guess what!
*We failed*
_I remember I even cut myself with the can_
Ooouuuuu good one!
Ideas:
1. Blowtorch
2. Sun (using large magnifying lens)
3. Dishwasher
Ik u can sous vide steak in a dishwasher
Renn steam dumplings too
I like where you're going
I definitely would like to see the blowtorch idea be done👍🏽
4. Car engine
i love how comfortable she is around, it’s so calming. and her confidence level is on point too. 🥺🙏🏼
i know right! she’s very charismatic :)
Even after a year, I still find myself coming back to this video...
Acting surprised with the setting when she removed her blindfold lmao
Not to mention I doubt they had a whole food truck for her to chose her ingredients from when she "just found out" with what and where she'll be cooking. Her ingredients weren't typical, she had this planned. I enjoyed it anyway, but they dont have to go out of their way to be insincere 🤷♀️
can this chef make a three course meal using an overheated laptop
😂😂😂😂
LET'S FIND OUT!
hahahaha😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sushi Cream Puff LMFAO
she said Mediterranean and my mom popped out of no where and was like.... were Mediterranean
yes mother ik
That's so cute lol
Lol I’m half Egyptian and we eat kofta a lot, she is it just me or is she pronouncing it wrong
Identicalthreat she is dutch so she obviously can‘t pronounce it properly
I never imaged me watching Tasty videos for 3 hours and 17 minutes straight but here we are
No one:
Alexis after she tries her cooking: 🤭🤫
Ben this is spot on
I was just reading this, looked up, and she was doing this 😂
Ben prefacing "no one" before a complement is ridiculously childish.
😂😂😂
It started off with a coffee maker in a kitchen. Now it's a campfire in the middle of a forest.
The most confident I’ve seen her all season. She couldn’t be caught this episode. You did that, sis. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Did they bring their whole kitchen in the woods?
...or maybe she knew what she was going to do...🤔
Ilinca Oncel oh my god😵
i was looking for ghis
I mean, even if that’s true, she still cooked it over a campfire
ya think?! this really wasn't a challenge other than using the wrong ingredients like. . .oh wait. nvrmd.
Ilinca Oncel i was thinking she should’ve cooked with what you’d have when you’re ACTUALLY out camping .
Room temperature?
More like "environment temperature"
🌞
So burning fucking hot?
I thought the same 😂
>>global warming entered the conversation
I love this series however, how did she know what ingredients to bring with her if she didnt know where she was cooking or what with? Like the fire roasted egg plant? How was that decided on the spot if she already had the ingredient. It's super confusing.
justonyoutube the producers bought the stuff
She’s told about the appliance but not the setting
The producers ring the food
It's definitely all scripted out.
They must have told her beforehand this time. Otherwise it would just be terribly wasteful to drive an hour into the woods for the opening shot, then drive back to get ingredients and then drive out again to do the actual video.
"I don't know who I'm cooking for,I'll see when *_SHE_* tries them"
"Uses campfire"
"Wilderness expert and loves to camp"
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT
You're pfp low-key fits what u said
@NaeNae Go Cool she knew. They didn't have her blindfolded the entire car ride and they didn't make them ride in a different car.
@@ikuuriax1480 That's EXACTLY what I was thinking 😂
She had to have some idea of what was going to be asked of her to have picked out the ingredients. It's not like they could drive out there, show her the campfire and then have her pick out the ingredients that someone would have to go get.
Who would thought a youtube series was scripted :v SHOCKING.
The fact she did kofta and cooked eggplants in camp fire brings back so many memories of camping and my dad. We also used to cook potatoes same way she cooked the eggplant
