I feel like this has too many issues for the price. The hair gap, and that face... the faces just don't look very good IMO. That smile, aside from the teeth, looks cartoonish.
@@thereddestofthefields2029 i preordered a couple weeks ago. It is a but pricey but honestly its a hundred times better than paying 150 for a 6 inch with a mediocre face. Asmus may be around 300 dollars but the sculpt and detail are worth it imo, especially for longtime fans of this game
Thank you for the review! I'm _seriously_ considering getting the deluxe Nero. I'm assuming that's US$150 not in Aus dollars! He *is* really hard to get here in Australia; though I do know of a couple of places still selling them at retail price. I think that his articulation is very similar to 1000Toys Killy (which I finally managed to get! Yay!) since his articulation setup looks identical. Check the back of Dante's head, because Killy has a hidden joint in the back of his hair that lifts out so you can tilt his head back further. Really cool figure, love his accessories and look. Really enjoyed the video and I hope you're staying safe!
Those knees 😅..untill know i really think that SHF & Mafex makes better articulation cuts..btw what if those two companies decided to make Dante too..i guess you'll buy it right away..😁
I was super excited when they announced these. Looking at it, im not to sure I like it. For 150 I think its kinda meh? This is probably one of those figures that only look good in photo shoots
Damn! that is bad engineering. Nothing against your video, you did a good job, but it's hard to say this is even a good figure with the money spent of it.
I received mine today and i got to admit it looks alot better irl than camera the only issue i had was the deluxe weapons don’t exactly fit in dantes hands its loose and not like the rebellion or dante sword where u can twist it but its like he doesnt grip onto devil sword sparda and cerberus anything i can do?
As DMC collector these figs are cringeworthy in quality. I have quite a few DMC figures/statues over the years and these just put me off. Out of the best DMC statues/figures look up Play Arts Kai, Kotobukiya series, Asmus series and Prime 1 studios. So far hands down Prime 1 studios Dante is the best for collectors of DMC the quality is superb. Play arts Kai surprisingly did a good job of a figure of Dante from DMC4, Asmus DMC5 Dante is not bad for a figure. Kotobukiya and Prime1 are more considered 'statues' than figs but it depends what you want a figurine or a statue or aiming for quality. Darkside collectables as also done a DMC1 Dante statue which is okay but Dante's face is a little strange to me. Like I said I'm a DMC collector I've looked around and seen the best and the worst.
@@sunandsteel117 Revoltech DMC3 Dante not bad considering its design and size and also very cheap too than these Sentinel figures. Funny there's even a Nendoroid DMC5 Dante which looks really good for a Nendoroid though I'm not really a Nendoroid collector. Prime 1 studio also have their own Cutie1 which is zipper mouth and button for eyes toys...though if your aiming for cuteness then Cutie1 and Nendoroid are the ones to get. Prime1 are also going to release a 1:2 scale DMC5 Dante which is practically a silicone Doll...its crazy. So yeah its hard to give a fair comparison from cheap figs to super expensive real life like quality silicone Doll. But to be fair just get what you can afford and you think is right for you. The higher the quality the higher the price. Right the moment I'm still waiting for Prime1 DMC5 1:4 statues to be releases and yeah very expensive but those will be considered by final collection pieces for collecting DMC as I don't think I can get any better than those. Prime1 1:2 Dante is just too crazy for me but I have to laugh at the quality of it though.
@@Adam-qy6wt Well yeah because the more higher quality you go the higher the price tag...and I know not everyone can afford to buy large high quality statues and not to mention the space of where to put them too. From 1:6 scale to 1:8 scale figures can easily fit on bookshelves but when you go 1:4 scale then you need entire custom made display cabinet just for them. I can understand why buy toys because their smaller and cheaper and take up less space...I know started off collecting small figs and then started to go bigger and bigger with my collection as I went from toys to 1:6 scale figs to 1:8 scale statues to 1:4 scale statues. But I don't want to go bigger than 1:4 as that is my limit because even 1:4 scale statues are huge and can take up a lot of space. So know your limits and what you can afford.
@@maskedreaper All very good options, gosh I want to get the 1000toys Dante DX edition for Christmas so bad but something in my gut is telling me they're gonna release a Vergil figure very soon, I should just hold out and get a different figure. I don't know Sentinel all too well, you think they might later down the line?
a buddy of mine picked this up recently and when he showed me pics I thought it was a bootleg
The face looks like Chucky omg hahaha 😭😭

The jacket and the face are a bit of a let down. I would love to have a Dante figure.
I wish neca or mcfarlane toys would do one, at least with a great facesculpt
alexis lopez look no further than AsmusToys friend. They got a couple with insane detail

Another great review I have deluxe Dante and regular Nero huge Devil May cry fan needed the devil sword sparda. Hopefully they do Vergil next 😁

It would be better if Mafex Made Dante Figure of Devil May Cry 4 .
Stay safe ken o wee.. Nice vids

In other words, Revoltech Dante from 2010 is better :). Regardless, I’d get this set for the Weapons.
i wait for asmus 1/6 tho but the articulation of this is superb
I hope Neca makes one. Those are the worst knees of all time
