Nice work! I'm really enjoying your revival of this boat. She will take care of you out on the water. Your patience and careful efforts will be rewarded.
When the board was fully retracted on my 93 Mariner, the upper end did not protrude below the hull. I would put a second or maybe two more layers along the bottom of the leading edge. The bottom 6 inches of my board were nearly sanded flat from dragging on a sandy bottom.
Thanks for the heads up. I’m going to stick with one layer just because it’s hard to hide. BUT, the barrier coat additive claims to increase abrasion resistance and I will be doing a graphite coat on the bottom tip and leading edge to also aid in abrasion protection. I’ll have to see how long it lasts.

Thank you, sir!
