I wouldn’t say rest in power, considering her racist remarks that everyone had forgotten about. I still think she was a fashion icon, but I’m sorry I can’t forget that as much as I would like to.
@@user-bv7mk8id5t WHAT!!🤔🤔 I am confused. As a Woman of color. I went through my GRUNGE PERIOD; and, also Punk PERIOD back in the 90's. I was going to pick her as my number one choice in regard to Wedding Dresses; when I " thought that I met Mr. RIGHT/ Mr. Big " , when I was 35 - years old. Oscar De la Renta was my Second choice. Could you please share the details and information in regard to her Racist statement??
I really missed her so much! Been her fan for a long time and have a small collections of her clothes which last for years. I dearly hope her husband AK will carry on and make VW a great label in years to come, and not sold to another big company like many labels eventually did.
Paris may be the capital of Hight Fashion but it was London that gave us most brilliant, outrageous, creative, and innovative designers…and y’all definitely know who they are😉🙌🏼🇬🇧
Making garments for the poseur punks and rich folks. Shopping at a thrift store or making stuff yourself is more punk than buying "punk clothes" off a rack. Prefer American punk style: jeans, denim/leather jacket, plain tennis shoes or dress shoes, t-shirts, button up shirts, etc. The best book on punk "fashion" is We're Desperate: The Punk Rock Photography of Jim Jocoy, SF/LA 1978-1980. Even John Waters is photographed in that book! Everyone in that book has a different and unique look and that is more punk than everyone wearing Seditionaries muslins, bondage pants and safety pins. Ramones > Sex Pistols.
Of course she meant to upset people! "Clothes for Heros"? 🤣 More like ZEROS! And made a Dame? Why didn't she stand by her "principles" (you know ... 💰💰💰) and turn it down?
The anti-capitalist 100 million dollar Marxist, or how to make a career out of rolling out of bed, not showering, picking your clothes from a dumpster, and not combing your hair.
Rest in peace !!! I Loved so much Vivienne passion for live her life such she want and she is now near by our wonderful Queen Elizabeth, I like to think that, sit near by our only father drinking a cup of tea and chatting about clothing and watch our majestic King Charles lll accompany and leading the UK 🇬🇧 to a bright future.
I loved this woman! Rest in piece. Hopefully I’ll be as cool when I get that old!
Rest in Punk Vivienne 🖤🕊 a true icon
I love how she never lost her Derbyshire accent.
I don't watch television. Just JEOPARDY and PBS.
R.I.P VIVIENNE WESTWOOD!! You're gonna make God blush when he sees the angels in your clothes.
American Masters and American Experience on PBS are both really good.
@@503punxoioioi9 the best. Pattis Mexican table and Lydia!!
One of the pioneers in the 1980 s fashion industry .........,.....
What a great tribute!
You are still the queen of real life aesthetic...young and vibrant forever!
Rest In Peace Ms Westwood. You will be sorely missed ❤

A reaction to what is...ALWAYS! RIP, fashion icon GOAT.
A true original and innovator. Rest in power Vivienne 🧑🎤🌄💐
Oh, she dead. No one is going to know because they caught the Moscow Idaho murders guy and that is the biggest story right now.

I'll miss you and your candid look on fashion. Bravo on all you did to move the needle.
WOW!
I have mad respect for her for telling us consumers to stop buying clothing; it is a huge source of waste and pollution
I bet Duane Peters is heartbroken, LOL. He loves Devo, Sid Vicious, The Clash, 1977. Stuck in the old days, what about today?!

Me and Vivienne share about 80% of the same birth chart. Including our big 3… Aries sun, Leo moon, sag rising💗💗
she is more a monarch than QE2 and it's a shame she betrays herself as a sycophant of the sick minded Britisher monarchy.
RIP Queen of Fashion, 🕊 🙏
RIP VIvianne Westwood
RIP ~ Icon
Boy was she ahead of most of us. Stop watching tv.
❤

Her house made Julien Assange's bride's wedding dress. Pretty. Light violety-silver.
Takes all kinda to make the punk go around. She was a trailblazer.

😘☮️❤️🙏
she has a low-volume voice here, suppose it's attractive tho one might strain to hear it
Viv was a genius no if ands or buts.
Chrissie Hynde said it best"the world will be a less interesting place"
RIP
So entertaining, nothing close to the disgusting Balenciaga. Just punk rock, to change things up and down.
No way
She looks like Madonna

6:05 Aw, see the little horns on her head whilst being made a “dame?” It must be for fashion.🧐
I agree. Loved her clothes, but the hypocrisy is sickening
She was as mad as a box of frogs who just got lucky. Punk is an aberration best forgotten

I don’t recall her ever saying she was a Marxist.
