Is anyone else getting nervous with all this talk of not having a lot of time and clutching his chest and not knowing if he 'can' come back for her? Cause none of this is foreshadowing that I like. (Especially with the preview!) On a happier note - gosh, I love Robert Carlyle! He's seriously amazing. Very few people can make me both want to smack a character upside the head with a purse for being overly stubborn while simultaneously making me want to hug him and tell him everything will be ok, and yet, time and again, week after week, he does it!
Oh I'm nervous too!! I love Rumple and really want him and Belle back together. It's almost like he's missing a piece of himself without her. But maybe, we'll get a scene where she goes to the hospital and kisses him like he did her after she lost her memories. :)
What IF! the heart thing isn't what we think, but its either gonna be related to NY or something else entirely.. I wonder that his reason for saying he may-not get her back in time, I would wonder if somehow the faults that he has been doing, and ofc been over a month out of SB affected him in some way, it was the price for leaving SB.. he crossed the town-line and this time with his memories in tact, there were side effects and somethings happened to his heart, its different now since his resurrection when he had something of Neal's to cross the town-line only this time, he only had the clothes on his back.. and somehow I think, if something bad happens. It won't be just that he loses Belle. I think, or I have this feeling Rumple won't just turn back into been The Dark One.. he'll look the part. Maybe it'll start with his eyes, then his fingernails, then his teeth and then his scaly green skin and curly hair, then next thing, you know, when Zelena showed us, Rumple was alive in 3x14. It could ref. that "When we feed the madness, then it feeds on you." and then the last thing to complete Mr. Gold's transformation back to Rumple as TDO. Is the laugh.... seriously. Emma knows what Gold/Rumple looks like in EF, but Henry doesn't... and if Henry saw what his paternal grandfather looked like. It'll be like Rumple has to make Belle fall in love with him all over again and that's how Rumbelle get back together, bc that's the only way I see it happening. Rumple knows he's running out of time, and before the darkness takes over him, he's reverting back to his oldself and which is why he's about to lose the thing he loves most. Belle. Think about it, to see BobbyC in full-on Dark-One makeup for a few episodes in both EF and SB. Would make this show very interesting... bc then it would be The Return of The Beast. Belle's TLK could finally break his curse as The Dark One, h could finally be free of the dagger, in the end, Rumple gives the dagger back to Belle. Seriously.. this is killing me, bc I haven't seen anything that Bobby will be in the last two episodes of S4.
Rebekah Mikaelson I know, he could be dying, but not as Rumple, but Gold is dying... its why he tried to free himself from the dagger as Gold by killing Hook. But that failed when Belle saved Hook's life and then banished Rumple in the process when she doesn't even know the effects or the price of banishing him outside of SB, she's never been outside of SB, this would've been the second time Rumple had been outside of SB. Think about it, I hope I'm wrong, but this is the only way I see Rumbelle getting back together now, bc like before ...back in S1 "Skin Deep" Belle's TLK kinda broke TDOs curse, and for this to happen again, will finally prove to Rumple, that Belle is his Happy Ending! and he knows that he's running out of time. His heart has been so dark for almost over 3 centuries, now well at least almost 3 centuries judging by his age of 330 yrs. Belle once saw the good man in Rumple, but now all she's sees is The Beast.. and for Rumple to accept that side of him atm, it's like he's accepted that since he failed to release himself from the dagger, he won't be trying to do it again, (I hope not!) so he'll have to face that consequence that the price for been banished out of SB, since he wasn't supposed to leave, he was resurrected like almost 3 months ago. Well Neal's been dead for 3 months now and CS are sailing, is that too soon? and I would like if he turned back into TDO, Bobby in his full-on Dark-One makeup it would be interesting to see how that turned out in both Enchanted Forest(flashbacks and future seasons if Storybrookers finally decide to go back home bc I wnna see how Emma/Henry take that all in!) and in Storybrooke for Gold as TDO, bc then it'll be like before 4B. Belle would be in his house, as Rumple would isolate himself in his cabin deep in the SB Woods (an alternative location for EFs Dark Forest). it's time we saw Bobby as TDO in SB. I would love to see how Henry handles that! hed either be afraid of his paternal grandfather bc knowing Rumple he would tell Henry to stay away from him, he would push everyone away. Not only that, even Belle. She's with Will atm and I don't think she realises the true reason why he's back, I mean, Rumple has been distant towards Belle and for a good reason.. but Belle hasn't gone looking for him, bc she's busy with Will. I guess, this proves why he hasn't hurt Will yet which is why he disguised himself as Hook and took back his dagger, but I'm sure eventually Rumple will give it back to Belle when she least expects it. He knows he's changing and for some reason the villains are becoming heroes and getting their Happy Endings, while the heroes and becoming villains and are about to lose their Happy Endings. Like Snowing are about to lose Emma to the darkness that when Lilemma reunite, Lily will probably give it back to Emma without her even knowing it. Sorry for ranting on!
I totally get it, as he's not a big guy. However, I've seen him in three movies lift and carry people when it looks like he shouldn't have been able to. Carlyle must be a strong fellow!
