Great video! Very very nice little dog you have there. It's a pleasure watching her work. She's a retrieving machine. You should be very proud of her 💯

Thanks for watching! I am very proud of her. She does a great job especially for this being her first season and just turning 1 last month!!

That's awesome that she's still a puppy. I've had shorthairs for 35 years, and and had the pleasure of owning and finishing 4 AKC field champions. You have a once in a lifetime dog right there. The ride is just beginning. Just hold on tight and enjoy.👍😎@@TheOutdoorCalling

Thank you for the kind words! She has exceeded every expectation I could have imagined already! Fantastic duck dog in the blind or from the boat. She retrieved over 60 ducks this season. Can’t wait to see what up looks like from here.

That's awesome that she's so versatile. Give her a pat on the head and a good girl for me.. Give her a great life.
She definitely deserves it 0:04 !@@TheOutdoorCalling

Thanks for watching! I definitely wasn’t expecting to see them. The pups found a couple coveys and I am completely caught off guard. Haha

Perhaps it would help to a single shot to help you take your time and get the bird on the first shot.

Yeah, I could definitely slow down on that first shot. I’ve got in a bad habit with that this year.

Loved the video! My son and I are hunting Northern Iowa this weekend, I also use an over and under and I'm wondering which choke tubes you are using? We are hunting public access land and possibly 1 or 2 private spots.

Thanks for watching! There should be plenty of birds in the area for you. Early season, I was running improved cylinder on the bottom and modified on top. I’m currently running modified/modified. but I think I might go back to improve cylinder on the bottom. I’ve been missing my first shot a lot and been having a lot of close shot opportunities.

How far north in Iowa are you?

I’d say closer to the northern border of the state the better the numbers will be.

If you get some obedience in her/him, you will have a nice dog....
