As a game as awesome as Kingdom Hearts they had a duty to make it entertaining and they did it well. Kingdom Hearts is an amazing well crafted game that is one of my all time favorites.
Chris Luciantonio agreed, I remember the past ones, it was a bit awkward overall from the crowd reaction, the commentary, none of them replying to the donations, and the person who was announcing the donation sounded unprofessional unlike this one. This video was very on point and energetic(plus the fat guy isn't there so you can actually see all the members talking for once lol)
Saves the universe is a bit of an exaggeration. A more accurate 10 word summation would be "Child with oversized key defeats Darkness using Disney and Light." Another summation would be "Darkness? Light? Why not Light? I am Darkness. ...okay."

Easily one of the best runs of the event, the runners and his co-commentators were not only very informative but they were also entertaining and created a fun lighthearted atmosphere that got you invested into the run. The songs also added to this as it was great seeing some of them nail the songs and have fun doing it, effort like this is always appreciated and it was enjoyable seeing twitch go from cringing to getting hyped over the songs later on.
The fact that spike and jhobs were on the couch makes it amazing. Even in the Rpglimit break events, they are soooooo god damn good at telling you what you need to know, and letting the runner explain things as they are able to. Its magic.
You cam just steal the keyblade by The Ends. It make the game easy. But I think taking his life and lost xion is too bad for a hero like sora, those duel I will let Roxas win
4 hours just in the lazer spam final boss. I didnt want to cheese it, so I kept both hands on the controller. I kept accidentally moving the X command off of reflect. And that's the end

I watched this live and was so enthralled the entire time. Even rewatching this run has me captured the entire time. The commentary, the gameplay, the singing, and just the general chemistry between the all the guys on screen shows how awesome this community really is.
Thank god for all the great background commentary that made run an easy watch. Almost impossible to understand why this is so well done without all the on the fly info, so props for doing all of that as it's happening.
Can’t get over how incredible the commentary was in this run. The coach knew exactly what the runner was doing and what he was thinking. A lot of runs include the runner talking slot and he coach just going into more detail but this was excellent.
Kingdom hearts are my favorite runs to watch at GDQ. Jhops and Spike are bloody legends and need a medal. Way to make a 3 hour run so entertaining. Legends

The difficulties really make you study the patterns of the enemies so you know when not to attack and when to attack. But it just blows my mind how you guys really knock it down to the details like oh my god how to you memorise all of that crap?
Beautiful songs and a great speedrun. It's quite pleasant to see it on the PS4 too, can't wait to play it now that it's getting patched. That trinity+reflect move blew me away. Got to go to bed, but I'm sure the second half of the video will surprise me some more.

I'm not a huge gamer, but still enjoy playing them if or when I can. I truly enjoyed watching this section of GDQ just because it's one of my favorite series to play! I just beat this game on crit, first time playing on a difficulty other than standard, and when I came to the first axel fight I got a major case of culture shock. I think I lost to him maybe no less than 10 times, and you made him look like a joke. Bravo, sir.

For real. January's commentary was absolute garbage.
They can't hear the announcer 100% of the time, so if they don't reply to donations, that's probably what happened.

Its crazy. I could barely get though the game on Proud mode but he ERADICATES Critical bosses in seconds. I'm in total awe.
