Blair is a perfectionist who has the patience of Jobe. Cassidy is learning from the best.
And when it comes to rebuilding a classic, You want a perfectionist, Even better when it's Blair, You know whoever buys this car is going to get their money's worth, A reliable classic that runs the way it should with no hidden problems
Perfect means perfect with Blair. That fine line is awesome.
Blair is the man the car is coming along beautifully
You know when you buy a Car that Blair was apart of building, You know your getting a car that's worth every dollar then some. Perfection down to the smallest details
OK, here’s a challenge. You guys should do a revival Derek from vice grip garage bad Chad‘s custom and take one of your old cars and take three days to put it back together. It would make great content then Derek could drive it all the To Tennessee😊
Blair has to be ONE of the BEST there is!! A PERFECTIONIST!! Ain’t too many people that could do stuff like that & it be so beautiful!!!!
I bet Linda Lyndell ‘What a Man’ plays whenever Blair enters the room. Mr cool, calm and collected. 😆
Just a high out guys! Car looks amazing and can't wait to see it upon completion! Nice paint job Blair! Mike buddy , get organized Tabarnac! lol
Good golly miss Molly! I had no idea that there is so many ways that painting a car could have so much to look for. Ahhhh, the eyes of a true professional! I stand in awe of the master Blair.
BLAIR You Are The Master Wizard!! Such A Cool Dude(That Has Rad Shirts!) You Work Is Absolute Perfection!! Your The Man Good Sir.
That's gonna look sweet can't wait to see it all polished up nice work blair
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is my daily around here...
Save as many of the Classics as you can guys your doing a good job
Hi Mike, The paint looks really nice. Blair's doing some very nice work. Take care. Rol
Kinda surprised no one complained about the '69 hood stripes on a '68. If they do, tell them it's your car, you'll do want you want.It turned out nice.
Shhhhh....Now they know!
Love u guys keep making all the good calls joleen keep him in the straight and narrow and out of trouble
As I say to my wife she keeps me alive ❤
That is gonna be one stunning “Clone Runner” guys, and I know Mike is going to keep it , 👍🇨🇦
Blair has nerves of steel! I would have been a wreck trying to do that. A Magician.
Good evening my friends I hope all is well on the west coast
Nice work guys. Blair, you're a genius. Masterful paint work. Been watching all your guys vids. I see some of Mikes mannerisms in myself or vice versa watching him on the trip to Lost Wages. He's a real car guy. We live it, breathe it and speak it. I own 3 69 Chevelles now and have had a few 68's back in the day as well as a 64 Malibu 2 dr hdtp, 64 vert, 65 vert, 70 Malibu 2 dr and a bunch of 68-9 wagons. Parted out more than I can remember.😢
Love your channel. Keep on keepin on!
The car looks good Blair
Blair is the man!!!!
You can use a Hardner/catalyst with blitz black. The mix ratio is 8 parts John Deere paint : 1 part REN3001 hardener : 1 part John Deere thinner.
These are without a doubt your best videos, when you're working on cars ! 😊
Blair has some serious patience 🤣....looks good boys!
Nice Work Blair ! 😎👍🇺🇸🇨🇦🍺
Looking good guys 😎
John Deere Blitz Black
Wow Blair cleaned his hat😮
Hilarious some of these comments from the casual's even blair would admit he's just going through the motions at this point after 40 yrs. Ive been a painter for 32 yrs and the only reason a bodyman/painter with that kind of experience is constantly being rushed and stiffeld on cutting corners and that's not where this guy should be working. I hope mike pays him well for sacrificing pride with a paycheck 🤘👍 love the content
Perfection! Almost😊
Man was I dissapointed to have missed you guys when you drove by my house on Edward St. in Chelmsford Ontario. I saw my house on the video after you left Mike's place where Avery bought that rare old outboard for $300 ! You guys purely rock and been following your genuine show/channel from day one ! You guys and gals all have some special qualities to make this show so incredible ! God Bless !
Good job everyone!
It looks great 👍 so far
This color is so cool. It comes to life in the sun and cools down in the shade to a more red. I think my other favorite is Curious Yellow. Looks yellow in the sun and sublime in darker cooler settings.
That car is sweet
Thank you. So far so good gentlemen. Congratulations on being so good you two.Keep on making great entertainment and video's they are great
Blair has patience more than me but that is one sweet ass paint job can't wait to see the finished product it is going to rock man i love those old school Mopars
nice work Blair
NICE JOB
Looking good. Keep it up!
Hi Mikey!!!!!! 😊👍
Exciting times can't wait until she is getting her interior installed. Maybe a bit more detail on the interior your cars seem to go from being painted to being finished. Would be nice to see you install an interior and see how much is new vs your gathered parts etc. 😊 Still think my favourite car Mike has done was a Satellite in Butternut Yellow (?) that an ole fella and his wife bought. For whatever reason that car stuck with me and I think you sold it for 50k (?) which seemed to be a complete bargain. Mike if that car ever found its way back to you pls let me know I may just be forced to get back into the classic car hobby!
Great paint job
So when are you guys making lunch? I’m getting hungry.😂
Nice Paint job it's not his first Rodeo!! Serge Orleans Ontario!!
Mike your looking tired. I think you need a vacation. Not driving across the country lol stay safe guys
Hey Rust Bros Lyle from Saskatoon sk in the building
Love it
HELLO RUST BROS LIKE YOUR CHANNEL HELLO FROM VIRGINIA
"Is that hair gel?" ...Something About Mary hair reference 🤣
Meets these two at Matt’s in Vegas super nice guys
Great content right here
I can promise you, John Deere paint is not fading. There is equipment sitting in fields for 40 years and looks exactly the same.
I beg to differ...
The fek it dont
@@lsxtmt4910 I should have probably clarified that the factory paint doesn’t fade.
@@birddog9201 I beg to differ, again.
@@birddog9201 id send pics of my old mans tractor it has a powdery feel on the hood and its a 770 i think 90s yes its all original no cab and has sat outside for 98% of its life i also have a 2 212 from the 70's and 80's paints a little brighter but its still faded same with my 318 thats also from the late 80's my dad sold that to my granpa and used ro work for a John Deere stroe and was also offered a job working in Florida at a manufacturing job for john Deere cause he built a part for a tractor that fixed an issue they were having thankfully/ sadly he passed on the job and he never would have adopted me if he did go hes still the best lawnmower mechanic around he still has old customers showing up to his house to talk or get work done on their mower or car/truck or fabrication now ill admit the john deere paint used ro be the best paint cause it is durable until it starts to flake off in massive chunks then u have to spend $500 in paint cause they upcharge the h*ll out of it
If the paint goes on a John Deere, it has to be good, right? I would think they would make that stuff tough. Whatever route you go, it will look good. Love the videos.
Honestly I thought experts would say that was painful but maybe that’s every painters struggle lol
nice
Hi test. That's reducer...
Dahhh
By the way I really like the car nice color
23:00 Mike used to party
Dope
Would have loved to have such a paint job on my 69 Judge... but it was not meant to be
Love the videos but it would be better if they came out in order
Cassidy,Needs some help,As she posted on her channel in tears,Honestly saying she does not know all the answers to questions she is getting,Please look out for her!
Man talk about another car of dreams forsure what would Rust Bros do without Blair u all do a real good job I don't want to be on either one of your bad sides no way I would keep u fellers and Cass and Lincoln Matt Michael and honey fed in donuts and coffee
🥓 for Honey and Lincoln not donuts hahahah
Noice....
🔥
Hey Blair, just curious why used a dark base before putting orange on the car? I’m getting ready to paint a Camaro hugger orange I was told to use a light base white light gray something like that. Just curious this is Paul from Western Massachusetts.
Excellent question. I usually go light sealer for light colors but its not critical when doing completes. I did sprayouts with black and grey sealers and we chose the black. When matching factory colors for partial paint the paint manufacturer usually gives a value shade or recommended sealer color
@blairsmith726 you are a legend my friend
793S
Add that to any enamel...
It might be a rope, never mind a hair. OMG.😮😮😮
Question Mike, We know how you met Avery but have your ever told us the story of how you "Lucked out" 😅 meeting Blair??
it was his own stupid fault lol i was advertising for a bodyman and he showed up and used jf as a reference so i hired him anyway lol
@@RustBrosRestos The poor bastard 😂
I think you guys should take it to JR‘s painted better
Hey Blair you can get the hardener for John deer enamels for the future from Brant Equipment in edmonton ,part number Ren 3001, by valspar
Thank you. That will help immensely 👍
Does Sarah still work you yall?
NEED CASS VIEDOS MORE 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Blair seems like he’d be hard to get along with
you went this far with resto use hardner in hood paint ....
Hogback!
Mike, keep your dirty fingers off Blair's paint job!! FFS!

to much trash, to much orange peel, it can be improved, less time polishing in the end..
Boo hoo! 😨😨😨
I think you guys need to learn how to paint
