Miss your program. I'm glad you pivoted on to RUclips, good to be able to watch you guys again !!
Whats wrong with Netflix that they shut down every decent reality show… they suck for that.. Rust Valley, fastest car, Shot in the Dark, American Vandal(not reality)…. Netflix is poop, someone pick up these gems.
@@jamesjetson3812 my thoughts exactly
Salvage yards are the saving grace for any restoration! ❤️
I loved walking around in scrap yards with my Uncle when i was younger, He'd always say someone else's junk is another man's treasure and you never know what kind of treasure we're going to find lol
Junk yards are the best therapy. My happy place.
We used to like going through the rubbish dump, so many thing's thrown out that could be repaired, some only needed cleaning, 😂 car's, toy gun's, etc stereo, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
@@donaldhalls2189 Thank you for sharing your story as well, Who did you like going with?
@@EternallyUnhappy useualy my Uncle Trevor and Dad, and cousins, we lived in a country town, Tantanoola South Australia, thanks for the reply wishing you all the best
Was just at the scrap yard today. My 2007 f150 needed the fan blower motor replaced. When my Dad was in the used car business, we would always go to the scrap yard for parts . Still doing it 40 years later. You can save a ton of money doing it this way.
I recently was Junkyard crawling and came across 15" Buick Rallye Rims for my 1966 Buick wildcat. Took some cleaning and polishing (and a little rust removal) and they are going to look great on my car!
I had a 65 Wildcat back in 77-79 and Rallye rims were rare then so thumbs up finding some.
I remember my first time in a recycling yard , I was 13 years old, went with my neighbor to get an engine for his 1964 Buick Riviera, it was originally bought new in Montana ,and a Dr from Kelowna owned it, and made its way to NB, the yard we went to was in Limestone Maine, Calvin West was the owner, he had the contract for picking up abandon cars etc with the State ,and the Loring Air Force base in Maine , there was over five thousand cars on that property, it would take you at least three days to see it all, but alas , it’s all but a memory now.
Thanks for the great video!👍🇨🇦
I have bad anxiety and I don't know what it is about these two (Avery and Mike). It calms me down! I love them. My Dad used to live in Summit County, Colorado (Mountains). Where they live how they live reminds me spending time with my Dad when I was a kid. Everything was always dirty, muddy, snowy and everyone was always so freindly and everyone knew everybody.
I remember this car salvage place that didn't want to deal with the growing grass, and bought ten goats ,those ten goats became 50 goats, and since they love jumping on cars, they destroyed every panel and glass on mostly all his cars, and ate all the interior on the cars without doors. But hey he didn't have grass on his land.😮😮😮
Great to see you both looking so well we’ve missed you here in the uk
Hello Mike good to see you back Love watching you guys
This brings back the best times I had when was younger walking around local scrap yards with my older brother (how has past away). We would start early, junk around, go for lunch and just hang out. Thanks Billy
I loved doing this with my dad, back in the 70’s. I’ve passed this down to my son, we love trawling junkyards. When you said there was a VW bus, you piqued my interest. We have a bunch of split window buses, our favourite is a 23-window Samba built 8/55 we rescued in Smithers. It must have rubbed off on my son, he’s at BCIT becoming a high school shop teacher.
Love watching you car crazy Canadian folks! Keep the videos coming
Bet Mike never imagined Blowing a goat would save him in court later on 😂😂
The Goat still sends him a valentine's card every years haha
@@joesmusicplace 🤣😂🤣☠️☠️☠️
Lot's of treasure.... great post! Thanks for the tour!
Love that ya started up a Chanel Mike, only get better with age brother. You are a true genuine nice bloke, is what first got my interest back back on Netflix 👍 👍 👌
Crazy thing is my grandpa owned this wreck yard. Use to be called A&H auto salvage. Sold in the early 2000s. Cool video Mike/Avery.
Thank god for youtube. Found your channel yesterday and I'm excited to experience all your adventures unfiltered.
My favourite pass time, my brother and I used to search around junk yards for hours when we were young, watching from Scotland 🏴
The 4x4 conversion company that did most industrial conversions was NAPCO, later bought by Dana / Spicer. NAPCO made kits to convert most 2WD trucks to 4WD for government and service vehicles.
Luv going thru scrapyards. Good job I don’t have a lot of acreage, I would have my own scrap yard
Good job guys on helping to try and save some treasures!!
the rasta blasta blowing goat sounds like a good time
Thank you. Another excelent video. Keep on bringing the stories and share the experience
Love it, guy went for the convid fist pump, Mike says " I don't do that shit " straight for the man's handshake, I doubt he votes turdoe 😂

"I haven't seen one of those since Christ was a cowboy" LOL I'm so glad you made this channel. I missed you guys.
I'm thrilled to have found this; now I can continue to watch and stay informed about your car restoration projects. Dreaming from the Philippines of owning an old classic car, though it may not likely happen.
Never give up on that dream! It can happen.
That was a fun walk around the yard!

Hi Mike, If Avory's your friend, who needs enemies ? HA HA HA. I really hope he's a nice person. Please don't spend on junk. You have projects to complete. One project at a time, one day at a time. Peace, love and bubble gum.
Then Tongue-in-cheek with mountain sheep, was well worth it, you saved a life, drove like an a%% but got a well warranted break. ❤ 😂 We love you guys and would watch you and Avery pick your noses like 2 old mall walkers.😅 ❤ When you guys put you brains before Avery's ( Save/1of a kind style grinder) like the brothers "Classic origial design" no bigger tires,no rake and Avery no scratches on the bumper? 😅 😊 Watching you two, while educational Canadian vehicles the should be remembered, Thanks for the laughs. 😂😂😅❤
I was a young man dad was in the salvage yard pulling parts for our family car. I found out if you lift mats in the front drivers floor you found change. It all went well till I found a Guys finger on the floorboard. I still remember picking it up cut off in at the knuckle !
I could spend weeks just walking around there. So much history and cool parts.
I love scrapyards. I was foreman of 1 for 10 years. It was the best 10 years of my life. I had it made! ❤

I wonder if that yellow school bus is my grandpas. my grandpa percy use too have one at his house but got rid of it many many years ago before he passed away. he lives in oliver. all my family on my dads side of the family lives there. such a beautiful place. honestly never knew this place was here. thats right behind the mall kind of by the airplane/helicopter strip. Im thinking that was my grandpas school bus it had shelves and he used it as a workshop. he built me and my brother both rocking horses for us kids. that would be so cool if this is my grandpas bus brings back so many memories
