Thinking about it peaches has probably one of the most simple tunes because in general and yet while it’s a dumb song it is still somehow good and catchy
I think some many of the sounds you get out of the sax are absolutely outstanding Also that sax itself has a really great sound. Actually one question Would it it hindering for playing sax if there s a stiff thumb on right hand?
Funny enough, the right thumb is the only finger you don't really use to play sax, so you're in luck! You do need to use it to hold the horn out in front of you but that's about it.
Where I live, we don't have an ice cream truck, probably because we have a relatively small-ish population near where I live in Canada. If you need ideas for songs to have prepared, what about Pazu's song from Castle in the Sky? I learned it by ear on my tenor a few months back. It's one of the few songs I know by ear, though I've been telling myself for months that I was gonna transcribe more often. I will now that summer break is here.
The ice cream truck driver has really good taste in music. The last one: Frank Mills - Music Box Dancer is really great. I stumbled upon it some months ago on Spotify. When I did, I listened to it on repeat at least a hundred times and now I find it here.
