    OMG IM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS CHANNEL! I am trying to condition my body this summer and also learn and expand my technique because I am not good at a la secondes but I realllly love them and want to nail them!! I’ve watched a couple of your videos so far and I can’t wait to start working on my body and technique! 😇

    She improved so much! It's wonderful to see your tips and their results in action on your students, Claudia! I've metioned before when you were coaching inward turns that Finis Jhung has a tip that seems to help getting and maintaining position on the supporting leg. He uses the phrase, "keep your head on the back shoulder." This is because of the tendency to swing past the supporting leg with the upper body just to get up on the leg. The tendency to go past the supporting leg creates a turn that separates rather than incorporates the right and left sides -- which you spoke of in tip 8.

      Cara MacDonald I heard a good tip is to rest it on a chair at 90 degrees and try to lift it off a few times to get used to it.

      Sit on a chair, put your leg out straight, and slowly push of your other leg staying in position and keep your leg up. See how long you can hold it and set goals.

    Hi! I've been watching your videos for quite a while now, but I really need help with mastering my attitude turns and actually just getting a perfect position when I do my attitude poses.       this is very late, but if you practice brushing the floor from your prep into second and practice kicks, you will develop the strength

    I thought a la seconde turns was when you face the corner then rise in seconde as you go round.Guess it must be called setting else.loved this video anyway keep up the good work!

      those are a la secondes too! those a la secondes in jazz/modern dance styles are also what the men do in ballet, but the ones in the video are what the girls do!!

    I like how you break it into 3 counts to start. I'm still not clear on the path of the working foot. Does it go through first, completely on the floor? Sometimes it varies. Thanks!

    There's something I cruelly miss... I don't have any balance and don't remember if you did a video for it. I can only turn once and when I'm making an arabesque I can't stay longer than half a second T^T
    So if you did one please tell me and if you didn't, would have some tips for me?
    by the way I would search again to see if you made some
