I was curious about Manor Lords and now I can see that it probably isn't for me, so you've saved me both money and aggravation. Glad you found the video useful! The "total war" elements will probably become more developed down the line. I know there are plans for city walls with siege mechanics as well as cavalry and such. It is just that those parts of the game are the least developed. So right now what is very developed and is the main gameplay is the survival city building.
What do you think about upgrading the tents to a Worker's Camp as the first move? You will still have the homelessness symbol at the top but your approval won't suffer, so it will stay at 50 %. Which in turn means that you will start growing as soon as the first house is build. The only downside I have found is that the families in the camp won't move into the newly built houses automatically.
That is an interesting idea. I have a maximum growth strate (not the strategy shown in the video) that one is about getting clothes and church super early to get approval up. Maybe doing that would make that strategy even a tiny bit faster.

I'm also right now trying to see how fast I can reach large town for the "on the edge" scenario. I am at 3.4 years now. Once I shaved a bit of that time. It should be possible below 3 years for sure. I will probably make a guide about rushing large town as well
I picked this game up a bit ago and think it has a ton of potential. I am a variety gamer and cycle between survival/builders, ARPGs, and MMORPGS mostly, so enjoy getting to see content on newer games I haven't been able to sink much time into. Thank you for the video and looking forward to more.

I also play a bunch of different games, most of them being indie games. but I'am trying to at least niche myself somewhat here on the channel.
