I just love how she keeps calling him "THE Chicken!" I feel like everyone who's had experience with multiple pets knows there's usually at least "THE ONE" that is always referred to in the 3rd person because of their aloofness!

I always wanted this breed of cat when we had cats, I think they are beautiful ! I just don't understand why any people would be afraid to pet their skin?? And even if they weren't 'pleasant' feeling, so what? They need love & touch like any other living thing.

I took in an abandoned Devon Rex, he was nearly hairless. I spent $8k in vet bills for the 3 years I had him before his heart failed. I'd do it again, what a sweetheart Harry was.

Just for those that don't know, sphynx cats need frequent bathing because there is too little fur to wick away oils and stuff. It's not only harmless, it's a necessity. They do have fur, but it's like suede.

I’d probably be a little nervous to touch him too ngl just cuz I’ve heard how high maintenance Sphinx cats are, but omg Chicken is the most perfect comedic name for a cat his breed it’s just so perfect lol I love it. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to have a Sphinx myself, but if I do I’m definitely stealing the name Chicken 😸 thank you for sharing this story.
