I literally just searched DAEAC#E looking for your old videos on it and found this, something you posted 53 seconds ago. amazing
Lvl1 for me is Tuning the guitar without break B strings
My wallet and I felt that
I tune a half step lower and then use a capo
I use ernie ball 10-46 never been a problem.
I'm always bustin my G string
How do ppl break strings lol I havnt broke a string in years I have to physically try to and I have a heavy pick hand too
why did you have to blue balls me on the Honestly? progression there at the end
There’s absolutely no way he didn’t know
Embracing the face lol .... Thanks so much for these vids. They're always very helpful.
This tuning with capo on 4 gives me shivers 😍
1:01 excuse this, just using this as a reference for chord shapes.
Step six: buy a Tele and use the middle position on the switch.
Step seven: buy a fender tube amp with onboard spring reverb.
I finally discovered this tuning the other week and have finally gotten some new ideas, that i actually like! now of to your schooling! dankeschön!
That's awesome!! Happy trails with the writing and playing!
@@TrevorWongMusic Thank you Trevor! I don't know what it is about this tuning, it's been so long, and i am talking years, with either playing in regular or some other tunings, with the odd exception here and there, it's been mostly some less than interesting noodling, but with this one, i actually really like what i have been playing and it's been around 3 weeks now....
Now my next big step i have to really start practicing, is tapping. I want to incorporate it into my playing, not in this "over the top" math rock kind of way, that is a bit much for my taste, but i definitely find it highly appealing and would love to bring it into my kind of playing.
So i will be browsing your videos often, i'd also love to get a one on one lesson with you some day, but i am still so old fashioned, i still don't have my own credit card, online paying methods of any kind...haha, it's terrible....
Anyway, thanks for now, you'll see me under your videos for sure, bye, take care!
This tuning is an A add4 chord, if that helps anyone.
starting to enjoy these. hope you keep making more with alt tunings.
CGCGCE 🙏
that was definitely some cool riffs, hats off to you sir
Very cool, I love this type of content. I always feel inspired after watching your videos
Lovin these mini vids, definitely gonna do this tomorrow :)
Gotta love #E
You can also tune it to CGDGbd and capo on 2nd fret
I haven't use this tuning never and this was really helpful! Thanks Trevor!
it's an awesome tuning, really easy to make something good sounding
EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGGG
Trevor could you do a tutorial on D A C# F# A E, I'm sure you'll love that tuning!!
I play a very similar tuning a lot. Instead of dropping the d a half step and the B a step i keep it that way. DADF#BE
@@itssitcomstupid Nice!!!
This is just really good advice in general too.
Oh man, you just keep doin it one by one, amazing
im in love with that man, nobody touches him now
Do you have any opinions on EADGCF tuning? or even DGCFA#D#? do you think its too easy of a tuning to be fun/ interesting?
I've learned that D#G#C#F#B E is very easy for major, minor, 7th, and 9th chords I like to play
Damn I am stuck on step 5
I wanna use this tuning for post hardcore. Can it be done?
Literally impossible. Don't even try
Daeac#e > facgce in my opinion
Nah. NEVERRR!!!
Ok. Maybe
Ok bill
He's right
por que no los dos
What mic are you using it sounds so nice!
Thank you!
That e13 tab chord doesn't seem correct. Shows fingers down on A and C# on fret 12, yet youre playing something different. Is that an inversion or?
Sweet riff
NEVERMEANTTT
The lazy pull on the headstock for some style points.
OK BUT CAN WE PLEASE HAVE THE TABS TO THAT INCREDIBLE RIFF AT THE END
I got lost between 4 and 5. I ended up on the highway
#E
What's the time signature of that riff at the end? I was trying to count it out and I couldn't figure it out. :( lol
nvm pretty sure it's in 3/3, yeah?
What's with the outro lol
who would dislike this?
hey trevor, what strings do you use?
like the tone.
Completely underrated
I really love these types of videos
Twinkly! :3
I made the mistake of tuning on my acoustic. Yikes. Im down two strings
Can I use D A E A C# E tune in my acustic guitar without wound the wood?
Do not tune specifically in DAEAC#E, because your strings may or bridge may not hold(tested). But you can use CGDGBD with a Capo on the 2 fret. It works
@@arexi1103 Cool, thanks a lot :)
@0:20 you play 6 fret on the low d, however in the a major scale there is no B# rather follows the sequence A B C#..... am i wrong or can someone explain what is going on there?
dude mine does not sound like this does anyone have tips on tuning it
