- SOOOOO I moved into university yesterday! Im going to the university of guelph this year for biomedical sciences and im living in south! PureHits Hey! My average when i applied was a 90, and i didn’t get into biomed until mid April. I got accepted into biological science on march break though!! Good luck with getting your acceptance!!!

That's my dream school when I'm older but my average isn't good enough at the moment I'm in the 70's and I'm a freshmen
I’m supposed to be going to UofG this fall (hopefully!). Honestly don’t even worry about it, you have plenty of time to get your grades up. Also, they can’t even see your grade 9 and 10 marks on your application so you’ll be ok!

You'll get there with hard work, my average as a freshman was a 60

Hi, I'm planning to come to Guelph this fall. I heard there is no kitchen in the South res, only an area for microwave ovens. How did that work for you? Would you recommend South for someone who wants to do some cooking from 1st yr?

I am not sure what your plans are, but biomedical science major is useless unless you are *lucky*/smart enough to get into a professional school (Medical school, vet school, etc). PhD in life sciences pays shit, and many people are stuck in Post-doc hell. Many of my classmates in my major are stuck living in their parents basement.
