With all the recent interviews and media surrounding Antonio Brown, the conversation today as he joins The Pivot is raw, real and honest as it comes.
Antonio Brown clears the air with Ryan, talks about his NFL exits, gratitude for Tom Brady, relationship with Kanye, what's next for him as he looks to make his NFL return with sights set on Dallas as a possible home.
Sitting down for the first time since their longtime feud, Ryan And AB talk about how their once close friendship as teammates fizzled into years of animosity. Ryan shares his side as AB fires back on his thoughts of what went wrong- Claiming the other guys on team were jealous of his contract as a young player, Ryan pushes back that no one cared about the money, they were bothered when AB felt like he was the team and the final straw was his aggression towards HOF coach Dick Lebeau. The two hash it out and then go into Tampa situation and why other quarterbacks should trust AB in the future, referencing how it ended with Big Ben and Tom Brady.
AB immediately shares his gratitude for Tom Brady and upmost respect for him changing his life and giving him a chance when he was in a dark place but says he can't control what the organization does.
AB relies on Ryan to back him up on how only the ones in Pittsburgh knew how Bruce Arians treated him back then and how it carried over to Tampa years later. "Only you and I know what it was like..."
Fred comes from a different point recalling their training days together and how much talent AB showed and how he's always been one of his favorite players.
Channing can't help himself as he dives into the female topic and asks AB what really went on the night before NY game with the girl which leads into a conversation about relationships, sex before games as AB tells him he is a different breed!
AB opens up about his plans for the future and upcoming surgery, his music career, business relationship with Kanye and why Dallas may be a good home for him.

I like how they let AB say his piece about what happened. No interruptions like every other podcast AB been on. The pivot had enough respect to let him say his part freely

Good observation.👍
Man, I love seeing men squash beef and have conversations after it all. Beautiful.
RC is truly an honest and classy brother.
Real Talk
RIGHT!!!
But RC can never say “I apologize, I am sorry…” lol
When the egos are put to the side things can happen
Ryan Clark is an incredible interviewer. PERIOD, POINT BLANK! I've always been a fan of how well this brother articulates not only the insightful truths about the Xs and Os of the game, but how well he represents the player's perspective from the lens of the locker room. He understands the ingredients that lead to WINS and cohesion for the team. I wish AB could see the bigger picture the way Clark does. But I definitely appreciate the PIVOT for allowing AB to share his story, even if AB comes across delusional at times during this interview.
He is but not here. AB exposed his a$s. This whole story about jealousy AB is referring to sounds legit. Seems like Ryan was part of the crew who were H8TIN on AB. To be honest, this whole situation, in my opinion, had a lot to do with who AB was during his career.

Ryan Clark is a GREAT interviewer ! Love AB as a Steelers fan living on NOLA but when the hood went over his head I thought I hope behavior like that doesn't come to hurt h later on
As a avid Steelers fan my whole life, I needed this. I was always a fan of AB the player, not so much the man. But who am I to judge another man and what he has going on. I'm a fan, not a judge. I respect has a player and that's all I needed to do. Sidenote, Ryan is such a class act.

@@reececisneros1622 that man has been a virus for his own vision! A narcissist who has to have every decision his way and every opinion his way otherwise the huge ass vein in his forehead pops out and he becomes emotional. "you signing hundreds of autographs, Ryan signing 4" 😂 Channing is hilarious. At the end, AB was talking about Ryan, and Channing just enticing AB to dig deeper 😂
Wow. I know I'm a year behind this, but this was an amazing show. So much respect to you all for the humanity of what you do, and how you deal with everyone who shows up to talk with you. The empathy is inspiring. So special. And I think what happens on this show, consistently is really important, on many levels, and never more evident than in this episode. Listening to AB is almost hard to do, learning about how being in the public eye constantly, in addition to dealing with the high stakes of being an important part of a professional team that is only about winning, and then add all the money and egos and perceptions and perhaps lack of communication that seems to have happened, being the young guy who feels all the pressure because he's the highest paid, whether anyone else is thinking about that or not, he felt it and thought about it, and it obviously affected him, it's all gotta be so hard to keep yourself together amidst all of that. So crazy. When he had the mask on at the end, and Ryan called him out on it, and then AB's explanation was like............ whoa. I never thought about it like that. Ownership of his own face... he wants you to HEAR him. Yeah. And how about how AB quoted Maya Angelou! "... they'll remember how you made them feel" (Did he even know that?) All of this is why this show is so good.
Im also behind. So glad I found there podcast.
I pivoted because of Channing and FT, but this is an RC appreciation post. That man's grown on me because of how his mental, emotional and conversational intelligence shines on this show. He has mastered the art and craft of communication. Knows when to listen, when to speak and is calculated in how he speaks. It's beautiful to watch.
He def brought the grown man energy this episode. Good to see him bury the beef with AB
Yo same. I say it more and more. RC is SOLID.
I have always thought this dynamic with RC, CC, AND FT was a better fit because of Ryan Clark. It's beautiful to see Black Men is discussion without fighting and you can hear each person's point of view. I misunderstood AB but I am glad I listened to this podcast. Ryan, Channing , and Fred work well together.

The Pivot hosts’ ability to get their guests to open up and be transparent is unlike any other interviews I’ve ever seen!! Keep it up!!

This was hands down the best AB interview, the others aren’t even close. It was also interesting to learn about the history of the bad blood between Arians and AB going all the way back to their Steelers days.
Honestly, if this how it went down I can understand AB. Arians has practically run a smear campaign against him his entire career.

Arians is a contrary old man
He had the audacity only recently to say if Tom Brady comes back he is playing for no other team but the Bucs

This is why the people need podcasts like the Pivot. Y’all do an amazing job of allowing guests to dispute any narratives about them and give them a platform to tell things from their side 🔥🙏🏽
Of ALL the interviews with AB, this one wasn't all about joking about his situations. It was about getting to some root causes and having a human conversation as others have already commented. Well done.
This is why we need our own media and pod casts. No way main stream media allows him to explain himself like this. AB makes sense. Leave it to the pivot to do the good work!!!!

The Pivot singlehandedly did something incredible and accomplished something no other media outlet has ever been able to do. They made many people see both AB and Floyd Mayweather in the best light of their storied careers! Keeping it 1000, both athletes seemed ignorant and self centered to the masses of fans. The Pivot however, gave both AB & Floyd a chance to articulate their truth in a way that gave millions of people a whole different outlook on them. I believe that folks will have a new found respect for both men. Although I may not have been the biggest fan of either men, I walked away from these two podcasts with a better understanding of these men and I have a lot more respect and appreciation for their journey. Kudos to Fred, Ryan and Channing for making The Pivot the best podcast ever! Respect kings! 🤴🏽 👊🏽💯
Perfectly said. The Pivot does a great job of humanizing their guests.
Well said.
I agree that the the podcast gives a different perspective, but at the end of the day...he's a fckup. Any man that willingly gives up 20 or 30 mil because he can't stfu is stupid. I don't care how much money he already has. He's still talking $hit because he may still get some team to pick him up, but once it's over, he'll be just like T.O out here trying to convince people he can still play at 47 or whatever because he didn't get to finish the way he wanted to.

Wow, I was not expecting this Pivot. This is the conversation people want to see, that will help Antonio as well. Thank you!!!
Update: This has changed my perception of Antonio, and he's speaking on the same thing Ricky Williams was saying. My takeaway: AB conforming at the expense of his self respect was not worth it, I can't do a thing but respect that. Well done fellas!!! Another throw down!

Stop hating peoples off media narratives a lot of the times it’s only to make people look bad when they be good people
Lmao i laughed when RC said “why i gotta slap em?” Cx
This has been the only AB interview I've watched cause it felt less about "Let's capitalize on this moment" and more about respecting whatever the story was. Great interview.
Exactly!!!

It seemed like Ryan Clark had more light he could’ve shed on where the AB/Steelers conflict stemmed from but shout out to him for realizing it wasn’t about justifying his perspective and being right but more about letting AB get his story out.

100%… RC is on another level in terms of growth from a leadership standpoint… All these guys are the truth!!!!
Fam, he handled that situation masterfully.
Ryan Clark is a true leader, this was great
He had a lot of shit he had to say but i think at this point after hearing how AB still stands on everything that happened years later he’s never gonna see that it wasn’t the money, or at least for rn. So he took the high road and didn’t play the court of public opinion game with him
Im getting to understand this dude . He comes from humble beginnings and he says hey I worked my ass off for a couple of paydays and football isn’t my life . I respect that .

this interview proved to me how structure is so vital. this was a controlled environment so AB had no choice but to condone himself accordingly. one of the greatest interviews of the quarter!
"I wanted something greater for myself so I went to the Patriots, met with Tom Brady and look....I became a champion, when Ryan Clark and the boys walk in those rooms, I'm in those rooms, not everybody in those rooms, so listen everybody thinks they know what's best for me, everybody wants to be my mom and dad, I got six kids I am a dad..." - classic
The proper platform for AB to talk and let his truths be known! Much respect to my guys at the Pivot!! ✊🏼
After watching this interview my perception of AB has changed within a positive sense. Past interviews of him were cringeworthy and I didn't entertain it. However, the OGs made him comfortable and it allowed him to be vulnerable and open expounding on occurrences and objectives of his life. His business tactics are achievable considering his circle consists of Floyd Mayweather and Kanye West. His attitude displayed in the interview was broad. There wasn't unscrupulous tactics...animated at times with gems dropped. Overall, AB is an excellent player and bring plenty to the game, but he's not a slave. He want it known that he loves the game and opportunities presented, but he shouldn't condone the mistreatment.

I agree I did not understand some aspects but the part about his experience with the Steelers I get that part I can understand being attacked and singled out but I must say his delivery is still an issue as a grown man you must be able to express yourself clearly and take some responsibility for some of the negative actions not that I would know but being a part of a team there are things you sign up for and I’m sure others have had similar experiences not to say it’s acceptable but there are ways and time to handle those things all we can do is pray for his better health and I must say this is the only podcast that asked the hard questions so salute to the pivot for getting at it

This interview gave what all of the other interview was supposed to give! Excellent job fellas! I knew y’all wouldn’t disappoint! I thought I was tired of hearing AB talk about himself, boy was I wrong! AB calling RC out was the best part!
AB still better than 70% of 1st option receivers in NFL right now.
Try 95%
No cap and its sad how Athlete's have to move to get paid! I can't wait to see Kansas city vs Miami
Except he may take his uniform off and run off the field mid game.
Maybe 40%
He’s “special” but he’s also still capable of helping a team with wr needs
Man the back and fourth was amazing. So happy I found this podcast.
The interview we wanted to see, Keep winning team Pivot!
I could feel the love between Antonio and Ryan. Glad to see them put their differences aside and have an open, honest (IMO) conversation. 👏🏾💪🏾
I LOVE THIS DAMN PODCAST !!! Yes I’m late but better late than never !!
This was a necessary interview. I love what these brothers are doing. They allowed bruh to speak his peace. And he was obviously not lying about how he felt in general as well as about the issues people had. He definitely deserves another opportunity
AB saying he left teams our left money because he could tell the team wasn't going to win a super bowl IS EXACTLY WHAT TEAMS DONT WANT. AB doesn't buy in unless the team is super bowl bound or the coach treats him differently. His career is over in the NFL
@@b.r.6175 So true. And yet there are people in the comment section that think this guy is so deep or something.
@@b.r.6175 why? Anybody else shops around for rings? Fuxking von miller? OBJ? Matt stafford??
@@lucaswalden6006 ya that's fine when you shopping. Not when you already sign with a team and purposely give up or don't give 100. Big difference.
I think this is the best AB interview that I have seen. I’m glad that AB was able to be open and tell the whole story. Kudos to The Pivot! They are definitely my favorite! Hats off to AB as well! Looking forward to more great things from both!
Its def the best. IAA interview was hot garbage
Channing is absolutely nuts. AB was talking crazy the whole podcast then Channing asked him if he was a freak and you realized that Channing is the crazy one 😂
😂😂😂😂. The “Pivot” we didn’t see coming. Hilarious. Channing is a peace of work. Honest. Love this crew.
Channing has no filter
Love Channing
RC is the definition of a human being maturing and bettering himself as a human being. The number one killer isn ego and he’s able to let it go and humble him self. Respect RC respect. All I got from AB was he likes to talk about himself. “Marked man.” Jesus 🤦🏻♂️
I swear on my life AB is speaking the realist talk I've ever heard. I've thought just like him all my life that's why I ride solo, just me and God
THE EPISODE WE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. THE PIVOT TOOK THIS INTERVIEW TO NEW HEIGHTS IN WHICH OTHER PODCASTS COULD NOT WITH AB. ALLOWED HIM TO SPEAK AND LISTENED. GAVE HIM FEEDBACK WHEN HE WAS DONE AND STATED THEIR RESPECTED OPINIONS AND NOT BEING BIAS. DEFINITELY LOOKED AT AB IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT NOW, LOVE THIS PODCAST
This by far was the best interview on AB from any platform. In my opinion the one on IAA was straight trash! They didn’t even prepare for the interview let alone it just felt like Marshall was just over talking everyone per usual with his boring cast. But this right here! Straight GOLD! RC great job on carrying this interview with that great opening on y’all’s history before this. I didn’t know it went that deep between y’all lol Fred my guy when you talk I even shut up and listen man, you know how to ask the right questions at the right time and hit it on the head with the personality that makes these guest so comfortable to open up. Channing bruh……. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you had me ROLLING IN TEARS on this interview 😂😂 You 3 truly made something special here and this was the first RUclips channel I watched every single episode and I finally caught up to this one today. And I’m glad y’all made this happen. Y’all were the core and that’s why ppl will follow you to your success and support y’all all the way! Keep it up guys!! Can’t wait til next Tuesday 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 P.S. Let’s find a way to add ocho in here now and make it legendary lol
Liking this post is nasty. Grown men turn into women real quick
@@coachtali5151 the person running the channel was just liking everything, I don’t think it was anything petty
ah shit the pivot liked ya comment😂 actin niggas won’t see the shade thrown at i am athlete
Uh, it was practically the SAME cast as the Pivot!; Huh?! The chemistry was WAY better, Channing and Fred don't seem the same!
Absolutely! Right on the money my dude! 😎
AB is an honest man. He didn't dodge any questions and answered them straight up even if it riled someone up. I can see how that can cause friction. But at the same time he respects his craft and people who show him respect. He's just different.
It’s nice to hear from AB unfiltered, this was a great interview!! Not saying he hasn’t done a lot of wrong but a lot of it gets way overblown and he’s now under appreciated as a result…
Great interview. I think it is obvious that AB has some mental issues and he's self medicating. No longer a fan but I wish him the best.
AB really was transparent! Great job men! Creating an atmosphere for individuals to be their genuine self. 🙌🏾💪🏾
AB is full of shit...
@@dremac33 Agreed. He is fake. Cant even look anyone in the eye. He's lying about everything. The man has something wrong with him.
@@colinw5639 how can he lie when his teammate was right there. He would have call bs on it
@@magick8288 his team mates said the man needs help. Tom Brady included.
This conversation and Marshawn has Fred T smiling the most, and it's something that makes the pod that much more special.
Nah, Fred was straight cheesin the whole episode with Jana. You could tell he really enjoyed Floyd and Marshawn though.
Was gone for awhile, back now!! This show is always good!! Antonio Brown please stay authentic, you are the best!! Praying for you, God always has you!! Good job guys, all best always!!😊😊
Love these 3 Men … and what they do to allow there guests to shine & not be judged… but to be heard !
May God continue to bless bless you and your family
With this episode...in less than 3 months "The PIVOT" has become the G.O.A.T of the sports podcast space.
Factz
The play by play on that fight in practice was pure gold! 😂
No filters here.. The most raw & real show out there!!!
HEY MAN... THIS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT RIGHT HERE... CLEARING THE AIR AND LETTIN THE VOICE BE HEARD.... THE FACE BE SEEN.. AND RESPECTING/ UPLIFTING AND BREATHING LIFE INTO THE PLATFORM... THIS WAS BRILLIANT.. SALUTE TO THE CREW AND AB...💯×💯×💯×💯...👍✅💪👊💎🏆💣💙🏅🥇💵💰🙏🙌
