Yes, there is indeed such a lot of hidden history. One of the things I love about doing this channel is all the bits of history I discover on my journeys
Love this melancholy and beautiful cemetery. Thank you for sharing. My only request is if you could please read some of the headstones and their dates. Many thanks! 😊 Keep up the great work! May these souls rest in peace. 🙏
It is a beautiful cemetery. I will try and remember to do that in future, read some of the headstones. Some of them do have very interesting inscriptions on them
Ha Ha So true! I love the differences in meaning in some words in Britain vs America. It's so interesting and always makes me laugh! Example: we call it the trunk of a car and you all call it the boot! We call it the hood and you guys call it the bonnet! 😂😊
@@leonaheraty3760 I reckon I'd potentially spend half my time being a proper confused little munckin if/when I visit the US. One thing that would definitely keep tripping me up is the fact the US call the ground floor the 1st floor & so on. I too find it interesting the difference in meanings between the US & UK
so much hidden history if we just look a little deeper x thank you x

Yes, fanny means your rear end here in America! Ha Ha 😂
I did think that was the case but wasn't sure if I'd remembered rightly.
Just goes to show how easy it could be for cultural misunderstandings 😆

Quite difficult to hear some of this due to the wind.
That wind was a bit of a pain. I don't like it when it's windy like that.
Why do Brits end a sentence with "all the rest"? For a Yank, this expression seems unnecessary and redundant. I'm sure we have such add-ons as well.
I'll be honest, I don't know why we do it; I don't always realise I'm saying it. You're absolutely right, it is a bit redundant & unnecessary.
just a colloquialism.
