This is actually a better flash cart than the Super card mini SD I just reviewed in my channel. EZ Flash Omega runs micro SD and can support more than 2Gb.

The only difference is that on the ez flash you need to wait 5 seconds after saving otherwise your save file will corrupt and eventually spread to your whole as card, and it drains your consoles battery way faster than the Everdrive. So it really depends on whether the price makes the compromises worth it for you
If you’re thinking ”I could buy a slot 2 GBA expansion pack to use with my slot 1 flashcart that I already use”. (I’m talking about the Nintendo DS here). But you won’t be able to trade Pokémon in any of the GBA Pokémon games if you do this since the DS doesn’t have a port for a trade cable.

I bought two of them in summer 2018.
A GREAT cartridge for the right price.
Better than the Everdrive for me (the EZ-Flash IV Omega works well with the last firmware and fitts all GBA's and DS/DS Lite.
P.S. There are just some GBA, GB, GBC and NES games that don't work properly, but i think is a common problem in flash cartridges.

The Super Gameboy effect is awesome and no other YTer was talking about it. I was looking through reviews and they just said the GBC games work great. Those black bars really bother me.
Just ordered mine today. I’m on a journey to have the ultimate GBA and I need this to make it happen. I need to be able to carry around all my games in one cartridge and ideally I need to have a rest mode. This gives me all that. Can’t wait to try this.
The everdrive is way better. The battery life on Ez-Flash cartridges are abysmal.
I wish I had known about this long before. When the gameboy advance was still the most recent portable console (when the nintendo ds was not even released)
I just ordered a GBA Everdrive Mini but I may still get one of these for my DS Lite.
I ordered my Ez Flash Omega of Amazon for my Gameboy Micro two days ago and it arrived yesterday. I'm very happy with it. I didn't know much about it at the time when I ordered it, I seen it had 109 very positive reviews (4.3 out of 5 stars) and the box said Exsek but it's this same card. for 59.99 and free next day air shipping if you have Prime.
It's the best investment I have made this week, and that's because I purchased Zelda The Minish Cap for 20 dollars, Final Fantasy Tactics for 20, Final Fantasy I and II for 10 and Final Fantasy IV in the original box for 25. I don't mind it though because I like to own the actual cartridge for the games I really really like.

oh, I've got this with a custom firmware to add more emulators, it's goddamn fantastic! Plays NES, turboGrafx16, all 3 gameboy platforms, gamegear, master system, SG1000, coleco, spectrum, wonderswan, and more, it's great

For 16gb you can at least fill everything with one of the console you choose due to rom packs. Edit: I also got this ordered recently, just for my GBAsp

Took the SD EZ-Flash challenge. Best I could do is 4.8GB with all USA NES,GB,GBC,GBA games known in existence as well as a few hundred mods/indie/demakes/etc custom roms.

Do you know what the "Definitive Edition" of the EZ Flash entails at all? Seen it advertised quite a bit.
Yep, I believe the definitive edition has a few extra features like rumble, swappable RTC battery (rather then soldered in), and something called Dual-Mode, that allows you to change how the game is treated by the machine. You can swap between a rom dump or having the cartridge act like a real GBA cart.

For anyone curious yes this is a great flash cart better then the EverDrive in price and is just as good. In my tests it works just perfect with a gba and the sp EXCEPT for the 101 models it won’t save on those and may cause save loss. Besides that it will save and run on the other 2 if you wait 15 seconds after with no issue. I was also able to trade Pokémon from a v1.0 rom of fire red since I beat it on my emulator to my emerald so yes the trades work which was just perfect and made me all the more happier. So hopefully anyone interested in buying shouldn’t have doubts it works for me just be gentle with the cart as it’s different from regular games hardware wise and get a reliable micro sd preferably sandisk and try to use a regular gba with s backlight mod like me or a 001 sp and everything should be fine. Hopefully this helped I would suggest getting this from your nearest supplier Grab it while you can!

The GBA complete NTSC rom set is just over 8gb (7gb if you don't have the 960mb of GBA video files)
GB 160mb, GBC 680mb, NES 180mb, Yeah 8gb should be enough if your only looking for complete NTSC rom sets of NES, GB, GBC and GBA (minus the 960mb GBA video files) prolly best to go with a 16gb card just in case you want to include all non NTSC English roms, Europe or Asian roms that don't require reading foreign languages or translations or... EVERYTHING cause you speak multiple languages and NEED it all... then prolly go 32gb =/
But where or how exactly do you dowload those library of games on your sd card

@@fraincs You need to convert the file yourself for Master System. You can't just add the Converter and play like pocket nes and Goomba color.
I’m getting the feeling that flashcarda is not a legitimate merchant. I checked out and bought the card and my transaction was immediately declined. I then got an email from a rep at the company asking for payment via PayPal friends and family. The rep said make no mention of the product or they will cancel the payment. Something smells fishy. I told them I’d move on.
Really? I've had no issues with them. I actually just purchased another card from them and am expecting it any day now. I certainly wouldnt pay friends and family though. I know a bunch of people in the comments have also ordered with no issues.

How will demanding Games Run?
Crash bandicoot, Tekken, Tony Hawk Underground.... Max Payne?
They all run like the original carts. The rkms are dumped onto the card, and the console treats it like the original game carts
My EZ flash omega stopped working yesterday. No matter how many times I reset my GBA, it only shows Gameboy but not the Nintendo logo on the bottom. Also tried other gba cartridge and it works fine on my GBA. It’s not the SD or my GBA. It’s the EZ flash omega cart not working
It should come with a 1 year warranty. I'd contact their customer support and I have no doubt they will take good care of you

I had this happen as well with my EZ flash Reformed. OVerall the reformed was a horrible experience for me

If you get the EZ-Flash Omega, it doesn't have games pre-installed, so you'd have to find the ROMs to put it on yourself

Is there any way to pick and choose the games you want to download so you don't have the entire collection downloaded? If not, is there any way to search for the games you want to play without having to scroll through for them?
Do time based events still occur in the GBA Pokémon games using this flash card? And using the Multiboot thing I'll still be able to trade with my actual Leaf Green cartridge which is on a separate Gameboy Advance? I can backup my save files using this card right? Would it be better for my case if I just bought an R4 card? Considering purchasing one of these over buying the game cartridges individually, and I haven't been able to find anything online that can really help me lol.

@@ididcrosscountry3623 Yes I did buy it! Time based events do occur, and even without multiboot I have been able to trade between my legitimate Leaf Green and the games on the flash card. And yeah you can backup save files by copying them onto your computer in case anything happens. Make sure to use the save state feature if possible (some games don't allow it for some reason) along with the In-game saving option. If your save file ever corrupts, you can just revert back to an old save state and everything will be good. It's a rare issue, but I thought I would give you a heads up. First you save state, then you save in game. If it says "Saving..." For way too long you know your save file corrupted, so just load the previous save state which was right before you saved and it's like nothing happened. Other than that, it works great and shouldn't take too long for you to get used to. I can try to answer any other questions if you would like :)

@@ididcrosscountry3623 As long as the file ends with .gba it should be good! You can get free roms from a lot of places online, it doesn't really matter where you download it. There can be minor differences in the title of roms but it shouldn't make a difference. I can't really remember which website I downloaded mine but I don't remember being too picky about it xD
What type of screen do you have in your GBA here by the way? I noticed that it has standard style Scanlines which is interesting. I did not know that there was a screen replacement for these that had CRT style Scanlines.
It looks like an ags 101 screen to me
@@Aubreyyy I don't think so, cus those have the square looking scanlines. This has normal CRT looking scanlines. Never seen that before for a replacement screen. Am still hoping the maker of this video will answer.

@@Restalgia Hm... Interesting. It looked to me like it had standard CRT style scanlines going across the screen, unlike the 101 screen which has grid like scanlines that run both horizontally and vertically.

Hey, I’ve got two questions. Does the package come with a micro sd card? and for the micro sd card, do I have to make the CHEATS, GBA, GBC, GB, NES, Nintendo, etc. folders?
Mine did not come with one, so it needs to be provided by the end user unless you are buying a package deal.

Can you make a folder inside the NES or GBA folder to have my favorite games in? I like to have folders for favorite games along with folders for pokemon, Mario and Zelda games on Nintendo emulators.

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere, but can this be used as a RAM expansion for the DS like the EZ Flash 3-in-1? Some DS homebrew requires the RAM expansion, so that would be a super useful feature.
I'm not sure if the origin EZ Flash Omega does, but the Omega Definitive Edition does!
Question, does it "emulate" it or does it actually just load the rom on to the existing hardware?
No emulation here. Rom is flashed to the cart and the console loads it as though its original hardware.

guys the super card is like 12 bucks and works great... just dl THE PROGRAM that you need to put the roms on the card and wah-lah.
where do i download the games?
My ez flash omega doesn’t display the artwork for gbc games unless I specifically go into the menu and change SGB over GBC, but I have to set it up every time I start my EZ flash up for some reason.. any ideas on how I can get it to be on there without having to reset it every time, for every individual game?
Do you have issue running Pokemon crystal ? Because I saw weird pixels going on when I start the game , other Pokemon games doesn’t have this issue.

Sadly no, since the EZ flash emulates them on the gba hardware instead of using the gba's internal gameboy hardware. And its VERY difficult to program the emulator to use the linkport.
@10:25 in the video it mentions the multiboot function that runs the game through the GBA hardware for trading in pokemon
Can you move save states from ROMS played on an emulator over to the same ROM on the flash cart?
yes you can! just name it the same as your ROM and put it in the SAVER folder on the SD card
Where would you get the roms? I’m wanting this for mainly Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Firered, and LoZ Minish Cap. What site would I get them from?
I won’t share any links since downloading roms off the internet is piracy, but a Google search should get you game roms.

Hows the aspect ratio on NES games ? playing the Legend of Zelda NES classics port, it always annoyed me that the aspect ratio is stretched.
The real question is... can you play multiplayer with other gba?

Yep, saves like normal with a real time clock so in game clock works for gold/silver/crystal gets and on

Unfortunately, in my ez flash omega I do not have gb and gbc frames. I've tried everything, updated my flash card to the latest version and nothing. When he turns on the game, e.g. pokemon, zelde, or another, only the black background is known. Kernel 1.07 and Firmware 7.0
This might be a stupid question but does downloading the software automatically give you all those games? Or is that something I have to get on my own separately ?
I believe its something you have to do separately, and then its as easy as a drag and drop to the SD card.

Yes you can source your own games and they will run. Just download, put on the SD card, plug it in and play. Hacks as well

@@edwin99901 battery is for save files and real time clock. When it does, those saves will be lost, just like a GB game. But it will last many many years

I've had freezing problems at the wrong time. To be clear it was 2x freezes in about 100hrs of game play. The first time it wasn't a big deal. The second time was in the middle of a save on Pokemon Ruby which ruined my save file and I lost a bunch of shinies including all the shiny Legendaries. It does work and I love all the cool features but it's not perfect. I will never trust it again as a primary cart...real OEM game carts from now on.
