It was 98 in Wa State at The Gorge, OZZFEST. I was so excited I decided to go see the opening band and they blew my mind. I told anyone who would listen for the next few years about this band that was going to kill Rock as we know it. I'm a know it all by any means but anyone who was there at that show was aware we were seeing and hearing something special. That band was of course SYOD and I'm far from being right all the time. I'm wrong a lot actually, I damn sure wasn't wrong that summer day at OZZFEST!

Serj se veía diferente como si no estuviera de buen ánimo, hubo canciones que o le costaban mucho o no las cantaba con ánimo, será que ya no le gusta el rumbo de Soad, o simplemente ayer no se sentía bien

Actualmente, Serj atraviesa momentos difíciles luchando por su país, la persecución turca continúa incluso después de años, el gobierno turco aprovechó estos momentos que el virus corona estaba llamando la atención de que todos sigan con sus crímenes, con toda la atención del mundo entero en el virus, casi no se nota nada, el propio Serj ya ha hablado de eso, hoy en día no está tan contento, pero hay que entenderlo, años de lucha y sin embargo todo este odio y persecución continúa, muy triste, mientras no haya una gran providencia encima de todo esto, Armenia no tendrá paz.

it is a live keyboard player. Dont know if Orbel or Danny. It would have been so cool to see serj at keyboards but at least they did not go the sequence route. You can clearly hear him mess up on the fresno performance of this song for those who think its a prerecorded thing. Respect for keeping unquantize

Armenians lived peacefuly in Anatolia under the Ottoman rule for 600 years. And then when the empire crumbled your ancestors took up arms from Russia and fought a terror war to push Turks and Kurds from East Anatolia for you to get your piece of the empire to create a country of your own. Then when Turks and Kurds fought back and the dying Ottoman government forced your people to Syria, outside of the blood soaking East Anatolia, then most of your people migrated to US like Irish, Italians and so on. So this is how people like you came to being, American but somehow so nationalist that you cry for the forgotton little Armenia.
Just like you are not personaly responsible for the atrocities Armenians caused when they took Qarabag from Azerbaijan back in the 90s, common Turkish people today are not responsible for what happened to Armenians back a century. Yet you can't live with this. Your nation can't. Since Turks are from a country, which in the past was an empire that conquered all neighbours of Turkey of today, every nation hates Turks.
Do British hate French today since William the Conqueror, a Norman French conquered England back in the 11th century? I really don't think so. So all those countries, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia, Georgia, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and others should give up this nonsense and shake hands with Turkey. Since this attitude causes Islamofashist super nationalist parties to topple Turkish republic and in turn a warmonger rules comes in its place. Which will destabilize, terrorize and harm all neighbours today or tomorrow.
Turkey and Azerbaijan supporting each other by military means when Turks are a part of NATO and Azerbaijan is armed by Russia means that neighbours of Turkey and their political agendas caused it. So the wrong doers are not Turkey or Azerbaijan. It is countries like Armenia who tries tries and tries again to harm Turks, Kurds, Azerbaijanis.
So there are no childbook style simple answers and reasons to wars. There are no bad guys or good guys. Germany did not start WWII cause they were evil people. The conditions of post WWI caused them to elect Hitler and his bunch. You crying for Armenia and giving a concert for Americans for their dolars just boost the same system that harms Armenians in return. You are a gimmick for America, the same country that destabilizes Turkey for 60 years and opening the way the more Islamofashist leaders to gain the support of the people. In the eyes of the people, you, your US, your music, your christianity, all look evil. So you are evil in this sense just like we are evil to you. You see the corruption? You see an end to this bloodshed? No! You just sell songs, give concerts right? That is what you understand. Then just do it. Your art don't change what is planned and executed by your masters. You are just a gimmick and nothing more.

The land being referred to is in Azerbaijan, and is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan. So, Azerbaijan are protecting their land, not Armenia..
