Ingredients used
2 catfish
1 long red pepper
2 chilli peppers
2 yellow scotch bonnet pepper
4 ehuru seeds (calabash nutmeg)
1 tbsp uziza seed
2 uda pods (grains of selim)
1 tsp dried parsley
2 small onions (1 medium onion)
birds eye chilli to taste
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cups vegetable stock
salt to taste
handful chopped basil (or uziza leaves, scent leaves, fresh parsley)
enough salt to wash catfish
juice of 1 lemon to wash catfish

It is used instead of water to add flavour and season the food. You can substitute with stock cubes and then add water as needed. Thanks for watching ❤️
