You are right without preservation skills you would’ve had a lot of raisins 😂😂
Correct!
HI friend!! Your braids look beautiful!
I didn't even pay attention to her having braids now! They do look beautiful!
That okra looks really good!
So good!
Always a pleasure!!!!!!!
I have a lot of basil to pinch and a dehydrator. You have inspired me to preserve it today. Maybe some basil salt or some other creation will result. I have a question. Would you consider making content about growing herbs from seed and how you keep them alive to harvest them? This is a struggle for me. I did have cilantro for the fall and basil varieties for this summer. I started herb seeds appropriate for the growing season, but they didn't make it after germination or transplant. I am also open to comments from viewers. There is an abundance of knowledge here that has been helpful and positive. Thank you.
I have two sets. I also saw someone use the lids for trays
The strawberry mint would add a lovely touch to the strawberry lemonade concentrate!
I think you are right!
We just finished today's harvest. I have 3 tables set up in my living room my kitchen table and baskets setting around just from today.
Nice! Congrats on the harvest!
I run a farm in Mississippi. We been harvesting for over a month. Already made most of my canning, freezing, and freeze drying goals. Got the second round planted now. And about to put up the second greenhouse and get it ready for fall.
@@craftyfarmer04 That is amazing!!
Good day, Barbara! I see your channel is growing. Praise God! Sending you thoughts of love and well wishes from Colorado!
Yes it is-God is blessing and I am grateful. Thanks so much!
Loving this video
I am always excited when you take us in the kitchen !!!!😃
Thank you!
Peach sorbet. Ninja Creami machine is incredible
That sounds yummy!
Hey Barbara!! Thanks for sharing! I’m in Michigan. I need to find that place. Also I bought a Concord grape vine from a farm this year. I’ll buy more next year.
Oh nice! I will try to get the name of the place in Michigan.
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead yes! Please share! I'm only 8 minutes from the Michigan line.
Yep came here to say the same thing! Name please, lol (as I sit here cleaning peaches for peach butter and jam)
@@sitsngigglesful peach butter?!?! I need to look it up.
@@sitsngigglesful OK let me ask the person who went for me! Ooh peach butter...what is that? Sounds yummy.
I'm also making my own Italian seasoning blend. I habe a dehydrator, but I hang my herbs to dry because I need the dehydrator to preserve the garden produce. I agree with you that it smells amazing!
Yes it does! What do you put in yours?
Looks great 😊
Peach jam is good. Make some syrups add it to your. Make some peach lemonade concentrate.
Yes peach lemonade concentrate is on the list!
Hi Barbara, another great video on canning. You can make peach cobbler and pie from your peach harvest/purchase.
Yes I will-that is my favorite dessert!
Barbara, you can also make parsley tea with your dried parsley as a natural diuretic if you want.
Ok thanks!
Hey girl, hey~! Love you and your channel
Hey! Thank you so much for your support and being here.
Freeze dried herbs are the best. You can crumble most herbs and mix or blend together as a rough mix. I like them better than powdered. But I do powder freeze dried onions, garlic and Also mix salt and grinder basil. Soooo good.
Yes I made basil salt last summer!
For the mint you can add it to a cheese cloth, soak it in your drink, remove it after it has soaked thoroughly so that the leaves aren't flowing around in your drink.
Ok great-thanks for tip!
you should put all freeze dried items in jars or mylar bays to keep the moisture out food bags is not as good
Yes I am noticing that-you are right!
Listen I’m all for herbs but I despise okra 😂😅 I need to invest in a freeze dryer. As of now, I dry my herbs by hanging them in my pantry.
Why don't you like okra?
@@scholasticbookfair. I never have. It’s the texture no matter how you cook it. I can’t eat it
Yes a freeze dryer is great! There is a link in my bio if you decide to get one.
😊 Thanks for sharing.
Where is the link to the freeze dryer
