I like the idea of adding words to other photos that already exist as a quick storyboarding shot list. I'll steal that instead of wasting all this time doing it by pencil!
@@IshwarMishraYT Im really still figuiring out how to get the best results from it, I never used a camera before. But I lost my last unboxing video with it and now im playing around with manual photography and im hoping to shoot a nice talking video soon!
@@VijitChandna thats the camera i curently use and started out with a year ago, its really hard to get used to, and deal with problems like noise. Over time you will learn how to use it from trial and error
Love that camera. That was my first as well. I found that if you turn down the color settings in cine v and cine d you get a great image. Possibly in the natural and standard as well
What makes the Olympus E-M1 II still attractive are the great photography capabilities. I really like the JPEG quality which allows me to save a lot of time with post-processing. So for "hybrid" content creators who are looking for an affordable semi-pro camera the E-M1 Mk II could be a great option despite its bad rep.
Here's hoping your spec ad turns into paid work sooner than later. BTW, I purchased your OM Log 400 LUT pack and your Em1 mkii user guide. I have found your Highway 99 and Live Edge LUTs to be a better starting point for grading than the official Olympus OM 400 to Rec. 709. The others in your pack are a bit too extreme to be useful to me, but no harm in having them.
Awesome work Nigel. Would love if you challenged yourself to try this with an iphone or that ipad. I know you've done something similar to making it look clean. But would be awesome for an Ad.
Nigel... where's the final video?!?! :) (Found it: ruclips.net/video/FFzZ7-SFJb4/видео.html) I can't believe you get such great footage off the EM1 M2... goes to show it's all about who is behind the camera and not the camera itself. I have the same camera, but I couldn't get used to the Log... I shoot in natural profile, because I lack the grading skills. The colors look fantastic. I wonder how this camera compares to a GH5. Any thoughts?
Hey, thanks! I posted the final video last week and it's in the cards! I think the log stuff from this camera can definitely hold up as long as you don't push it too far! As far as how it golds up against the GH5, i think the GH5 has way better color depth, but the reason I use the Olympus is because of the superior autofocus, which is much needed for making YT videos!
That storyboarding style is honestly a super good idea! 👌 killer video as always! 🙌
Excellent video! I really enjoyed the detailed breakdown of your thought process, super helpful!
Been waiting for your videos
Sweet video! Dig the lighting on your A roll, brings out the blue in your eyes.
Thanks Nate!
where can i see the coffee ad - final result ?
Already waiting for your next video about the small mic set-up you got here ✌
Keep Doing It! It helps people like us a lot👍👍

@@benferris6472 what have you done to remove noise? I haven't done anything low light so haven't had issues with noise yet

Im just curios, what kind of bad raps the E-M1 Mk ii have been receiving ?
I like it. Cool job.

If you get to go to Japan, em1x are 680 or so. It's supposed to be really good with stabilized video...
Nigel what are your typical frame rates? Do you shoot 4k or 1080?
Where is the final video?

@@NigelBarros Okay I found it, thanks! It looked great! I agree with the video AF being useful for RUclips. Did you use video AF in the coffee video?
I saw the video. Nothing special, so boring…
