  • It's been a while since I made a «general» tribute to classic films, so I put this together to celebrate my reaching 6000 subscribers. All I can say is, thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for subscribing, thank you for taking a few minutes to watch my videos and to leave kind comments. Thank you!
This is one of my favourite songs by Bon Iver and I think it goes really well with Old Hollywood (as most of his songs do, actually). I hope you like it.

What a wonderful tribute and celebration of your 6000 subscribers!! Congratulations on the milestone - it's so well deserved. You know how much I love your videos and this was no exception. I love that you not only used Hollywood talkies in this one, but also silent films and foreign films from the period. Hiroshima Mon Amour is one of my favourite films! The use of quotes were fantastic too - I found the Psycho quote at 0:28 particularly powerful. The amount of Tyrone Power in this video made very happy as well. So many great scene choices and paralells. The Mr Smith quote at 1:47 made me well up. Just such a fantastic video! Congrats again and here's to the next 6000!

Just when I haven’t seen a classic film in awhile, you end up making the most lovely tribute that gets me in the mood to watch one. :) Tysm Cátia, I appreciate all the love that goes into these, because all of these actors and actresses and the characters that they portrayed are so loved
