I remember visiting a family with a baby about Zelda’s age and blowing raspberries for her. She was so entranced with my “skill” and smiled and laughed for long minutes afterward. When I visited again, she had mastered this “skill,” and blew raspberries nonstop for most of my visit. I remember thinking, “Well, what do you know? With no effort at all and without even thinking about it, I taught a baby a totally useless and potentially disgusting habit.” 😂

@@nancyfarkas3592 I didn’t type that I taught her anything. I typed that I remember thinking I did, which seems reasonable considering the coincidental timing. However, her mother accused me of teaching her that behavior, probably (again) based on timing. Maybe the baby in question already knew the behavior, and I simply encouraged her. But I am not going to argue with her mother.

Just curious - does your family go to the beach or pool much (in summer, of course - I know it’s your winter now)? I guess I always assumed Perth was a “beachy” city due to the location and hot weather but that’s coming from someone who lives in the flat corn and soybean fields of the American Midwest 😉. I do remember a beach video from long ago - perhaps when you only had six kids?
And just to be clear, pure curiosity, not judgement. I found both beaches and pools incredibly stressful when we had a bunch of very small kids!

Yeah we don’t go often! Last time we went to the beach was with my sister and her kids and I was pregnant with Zelda, I don’t think we vlogged that day though!
The sun is intense and UV is so high here in Perth, during summer and the beach sand gets so hot you can burn your feet on it , so the beach isn't a great place for little ones in the heat of summer. Best time for the beach is sunset

Evans voice is changing! He is sounding closer to a teenager than a child. I'm sorry.😢 They grow so fast. I have watched your family since you told the six older kids that you were pregnant with the twins. I love watching these kids grow and develop their own unique personalities. Now you need another set of twins to round up to an even dozen. Two girls to even out the genders and six big kids and six littles. I have heard that when a baby is doing things early, that they subconsciously know mommy is pregnant and they need to catch up with the bigger kids. I wonder if Zelda is telling you something? 😉😉😉 It would be interesting to know if that old wives tale is true or not. I can't wait for the next video.

@@jbythebay1543 sorry is because he is growing up so fast. It is hard when they are grown so fast. It seems like the minute you put your children on the school bus, a week later they are graduating from highschool. You feel like time drags on but before you know it, you are a grandmother! And yes a wives tale. It does NOT mean Chloe is at all pregnant. It would be cool though because they have beautiful children. I have no idea if they want more kids or if they are done. That's up to them.
What does she do to ensure a smooth birth? I’m probably not going to have kids for a while but the idea of giving birth terrifies me.
