Im pretty sure zod came to earth cos of clark right ? After being imprisoned, he came to find clark, but this world hasnt got a clark, so idk what there donna do, and if theres no meta humans and theres a super girl, why not just have superman ? Its just a bit silly
The more I hear about The Flash the less interested I am in watching it. It looks like a cheap bad version of the Flashpoint Paradox and a weak and poor excuse to kill off Cavill and the DCEU.
Personally, I think the animated movie of the Flashpoint Paradox sounds like the superior version of the film.
Seeing Ben suit up one more time has me hyped.

To be fair, we just had 10 years of The Flash tv show so I’m sure they wanted to do something different and bigger scale than the CW version for The Flash film. It looks really great in my opinion and I’m excited for it!
The Flash show had the Flashpoint storyline though, that was the crux of the entire third season

Flash is a good excuse for James Gunn to rewrite the stories and bring forth his vision for DC.

This trailer was a pleasant surprise, I think most people had written it off given Ezra's stuff and all the rumors surrounding it but I can honestly say im super excited for this
I'm hoping that when they reset the DC universe that they'll have a different actor come out of the speed force to play the Flash. ⚡
Man of steel is my favorite movie of all time. While I hate not getting a sequel, re-establishing the threat that is zod is still so awesome to see
Dude, Man os Stell has a place in my heart. I dont know why. I know it is not the best superhero movie, but it is the one that I love the most. o_o I also love Joker, Superman 1978, The Dark Knight... Wonder Woman, Black Panther, Iron Man, Winter Soldier I also like.

I hope Grant Gustin appears in a cameo in the film maybe as Barry’s running back in time it shows clips from other universes or times and it shows Grant’s Flash in a clip.
It’d pay off the crossover in Crisis and the fact that Barry got his hero name from Grant’s Barry.
When Keaton showed up.. full body chills.
This will be an exercise in 'separate the art from the artist'.
Especially since a whooooooole lotta people put a LOT of time and effort into making the film.
I mean it's pretty different to most art. Nobody involved in the movie is getting royalties from it, so the movie making profit isn't benefitting Ezra (especially as WB are pretty much definitely going to recast them.)

I'm more hyped for Batman than I am with the Flash in this movie
It was weird for me not seeing Grant Gustin as Barry/The Flash and Melissa Benoist as Kara/Supergirl. They are in my opinion the best versions of these characters. Just my opinion though, don’t really like Ezra’s Flash not just because of his actions, I just prefer Grant’s. The movie looks decent, Batman looks awesome.
Visually looks appealing and I'm curious about the story. I hope Keaton's role is more than just mining nostalgia. Also, I'm good if this is Ezra Miller's last time as the Flash. It's a good time to recast or shift to Wally West.

It looks like Present Barry will travel back to when his past self got his powers, and BOTH of them get struck by lightning, overcharging present Barry to get the yellow lightning, and giving past Barry the blue lightning

@James, the theory was one of them was supposed to be wiped out once the timeline settled in. It might be the speed force that is holding him in the timeline.
I’m really torn on this movie, on the one hand I want it to be good so that I can get invested into DC again but in the other hand I don’t want to support WB keeping a fucking convicted criminal on their payroll

In James Gunn we trust!
It makes sense to have Supergirl in this. It would have been really hard to have Henry Cavill as skinny, weak Flashpoint Superman. They would have had to CGI him like skinny Captain America, and I think they want to keep CGI away from Cavill-El.
Any emotional connection I have to Flash is through the tv series, to the point where his line "Because this is the universe my mother lives, I won't lose her again" hit me. I'll go to this for Keaton, but hoping it's a fun experience like Shazam, WW, or Man of Steel.
Personally, to me, this looks like trash. It has nothing at all I want for a Flash Point like story, I wanted my war between Wonder Woman and Aquaman and Zod is not an equal counterpoint to that. Also fuck anything with Ezra Miller, but doubly fuck a movie that should have been canned due to his antics and has two of him in it.

Not a fan of the look of this movie, Keaton's suit looks awful in this lighting. The main reason it looked great in 89 was because of the way the lighting was done

There's an image of Keatons Batsuits and there was the iconic blue and grey Batsuit next to the 89 Batsuit.
Curious to know who the villain is, what if it's the alternate Barry but is really Eobard Thawne. Probably a bit outlandish, but it is a Flashpoint-ish story after all and Thawne HAS had an operation in the comics to look like Barry.
I think that might be the case, as the other Barry is wearing yellow in the scene they meet. It could be a flashback-type scene where Thawne is explaining to Barry how they first met. Thawne could've had the operation in the future, and Barry, after travelling to the future, meets Thawne, who's stole his face, and steals his glory.
The villain is the thing that plays The Flash. That thing is a proven pedophile and NOBODY is talking about it. You’re all supportive of pedophilia by supporting this movie.
I used to love DC when I was a kid, I had DC toys... I hope they can bring me back! The gray/blue Batman suit gets me closer, I admit!

They never keep anything secret.. most of WB's trailers give every important or awesome scene before the release..they should fire the incompetent guy doing the trailers.

This movie makes me so happy and also so sad. Happy because Its a flash movie, I have been waiting for this for about 7 years and it looks great. there definitely seem to be major threads from the flashpoint paradox in there. Sad because Im seeing ben and i just wish we could have gotten to see his movie as batman and complete the old planned universe with Z. All of that would have been great but I am happy with this

I believe there’s a 3 issue comic run that is a tie in to this movie that explains how Barry gets his new suit and yellow lightning
Did they not react to the James Gunn video where he said this is gonna reset everything? I thought they did but I could be wrong. I wonder how long it will be before we see a new flash project? Because this one is probably gonna be erased or something. Would be a perfect time to recast. After flashpoint in the comics, Barry got back to the new timeline and eventually his pre flashpoint memories faded I believe. So I imagine that will happen here. At the end he probably won’t even remember he even did flashpoint or remember batfleck Batman or anything

Is there any purpose to watch these old universe DC movies, other than nostalgia, because they don't mean anything going forward. Isn't Gunn resetting the entire franchise ? So, technically this movie means nothing going forward, unless I am mistaken. To be honest, the DC Universe confuses me and I'm quite glad it's getting reset.
Last I checked, and I am right about this, Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Thomas Wayne in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. I have said this before years ago, "To see Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne in a Flashpoint Paradox would be SO AWESOME!" If in fact he is not in the Flash movie as Ben Affleck's "Batman/Bruce Wayne's Father" this movie will be garbage. End of story. And sorry not sorry, Ezra Miller is not my Flash. That kid needs to be fired. If I had done what he did, I'd be in jail.

It's too bad this will reset everything because the post credit scene that was or will be removed had Batfleck lost in the mutiverse and Flash looking for him. Ben was up to doing it.
Can we please get over Flashpoint? It's THE worst Flash story in comic books. There is an animated movie, a TV show and now a movie about it.
Flashpoint has now been retconned twice in comics, that's how bad it is.
Barry and Wally both had 1 rule, they will never time-travel to change things, NEVER. Barry kept that rule when Iris was killed, Wally kept that rule when Linda's pregnancy was aborted. Suddenly to reboot the whole timeline they decided to 180 Barry's entire personality that was developed for 2 decades. No build up or anything, straight to time traveling to save his mom, mind you his mother's dead was retonned for Flashpoint otherwise it wouldn't make sense because she died years ago, Barry was over it.
Not only that, Flashpoint procured single worst version of Batman that haunted comics for years because of Tom King, one of the worst Batman stories was whenever his dad showed up.
I am not blaming Geoff Johns, I understand why he was picked to write Flashpoint, the best Wally West stories were written by him throughout Post-Crisis.
I do hope James Gunn adapts some of the older stories but alas getting rid of Cavill killed the entire thing for me.
Also stop fucking making Flash act like a giga geek. Both Barry and Wally are extremely confident and charismatic in comic books. Outside of having super speed, this character has almost no relation to comic book Barry.

On one hand I do trust Gunn, a hell of a lot more than the previous guys in charge of the DC stuff....but its still 'main' cinematic DC and besides Gunn's projects, only really enjoyed the first Shazam.
I dunno might be an HBO max watch for me.

BUT... I just wish they kept it Clark and not unnecessarily replace him with Kara. I mean.. why? Why do they need to do that? Kara has a great story as is, they should introduce her that way.
And seeing Affleck as both Bruce and Batman.. why not have Cavill? Bah.. What could have been.
That being said, I think the movie will be good. I mean, Flashpoint is a great storyline in the comics afterall. And the gimick of having Keaton in it as well will help.
But what the hell DC. We have three Batmen running around in this Multiverse. We have Affleck, boring Pattinson, and now Keaton too? Yet we can't give Cavill a MoS2 along side their new Gunn Superman? Weird.
No offense the trailer is good but it seems WB just knit picking past animation movies from DC and just edit this and that and make it worst. The Flashpoint Paradox movie is so great and here we have a knockoff that is trying so hard to impress. Why cant WB stay true to the original animation storyline of DC comics and Justice League animation. The reason People in WB is having a hard time making a Good universe is they just knit picking the best selling movies of DC animation. Even the JL movie is based on Justice League War movie animation from 2014. In the Flashpoint the reverse flash is there because he is the reason why Barry's mom died and this movie just F#$% it all up. For the Love of God WB stop Knit Picking on DC animation and Start the real sequence of the story of DC from the comics or animation, guys from WB are so lazy as a sloth. They wil never get the DC universe right even with Gunn on board. So sad to see Henry Cavill who is so dedicated to be Superman just leave due to the Laziness and Stupidity of People on WB.

I'd really like to be excited for this movie, but I just can't be. I've never been keen on Ezra Miller's casting as Barry Allen (though I used to have a lot of time for him as an actor). For me, I just couldn't shake that perfect image of Grant Gustin in the role from my mind. I didn't like the effects that were employed for the character in the DCEU either. All those things, combined with Miller's recent outbursts just have robbed me of any desire to see this flick. It's a real shame, because a Flashpoint movie is amazing.
