I drove mine through a snowstorm two times up the mountain in big Bear California. Performed incredibly during the storm in powder, after the storm in ice and downhill in the slush. No one's gonna believe me, but I performed as well as a four-wheel-drive pick up truck that I used on loan the previous year.

My 2020 RX350 AWD is awful in the snow. Had a 2017 BMW 330ix before, and it was absolutely incredible.

My awd lexus gs 350 f sport just showed me what these cars are capable of in snow. I'll never drive another type of car. This thing just saved my life. 🙏🏾💯

How do you turn the “lock” system on?

    • @typerlol

It is inside the interior near the gear shifter

Hi, I have Lexus RX 350 F Sport year 2018, how do I drive during winter time in the snow? Cause I never drive in the snow before. So do I need to put awd button on automatic all the time even their is snow?

So if you are exceeding 40 kmh and it is slippery conditions will the awd engage automatically or do you have to be under 40 kmh for it to engage awd and if the awd lock is not on and only traction control is on and you are driving over 40 kmh will it engage awd automatically or will you still be in fwd if you start to slid

No reviews on internet tries the toyota's and Lexus cars in complete center "diff lock mode", All have method of locking the center with a pedal dance. It lock 50/50 front rear and keeps it lock pass 40km/h.
Only use this when needed, prolong use on pavement may cause damage to vehicule.
    - Start the car while pushing parking brake and regular brake
    - Hit regular brake twice while holding parking brake..hold the regular brake on the second hit
    - Pump the parking brake twice while holding the regular brake, Hold it on the second hit
    - Then push the Regular brake pedal twice again, the Diff lock light will show in the dash.
    * To reset, Shutdown and restart the car's engine *
    Worked on my 08 RAV4 3.5 limited
    Works on my 2013 RX350
works on my friend 2012 IS 250

Basically it sends maximum pressure to the PTU at the rear. It simulates a locker but it won't fully lock. Problem with toyotas and lexus is their disgusting traction control...

@@ChebRx7 I can tell, in snow awd is garbage, even with new winter tires, 4x4 is not awd, google it.
