Hey man, I used an abrasive product for cleaning my rails and steering wheel called on-off marykate and unfortunately it kind of stained the metal (made it dull and a bit dark). Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks for the tip 🙏🏽
Not sure what happened, but I would look into chrome polishing and you may have to buff it out first. I’ve never had to do it so I can’t offer much advice other than researching something online. Good luck!
This is why I prefer outboards. So much less maintenance and if you suck up sand worst case its a 20 dollar water pump impeller that takes an hour to swap. Winterization? No thanks, just fuel stabilizer for me 😅
I have a dial that I turn back the psi on my pressure washer, not sure what number but I turned it down. But it’s worth noting that fiberglass boats can take pretty high psi

Nice finish, but all that mold which can be airborne spores, I would have worn a KN95 mask, goggles, Tyvek suit, etc...mold health problems don’t show up right away....
That’s 18 months???? Looks like the guy needs to sell it, and never buy another boat. Some people don’t deserve to be boat owners. Nice detail job. He should give the boat to you.
You got the boat, now you can clean up the ground around the boat where you threw out all that trash. Trash can w/bag in the boat would have helped and saved you time.

I do all my cleanings for free because I put them on RUclips to make ad revenue. But I would probably charge 200$ for a deep cleaning like this.
