I form a pot on a wooden stick and bake it. Then, immediately after baking, I remove it and wait for it to cool. I paint with dry pastels.

I love succulents so much. It wasn’t until probably the last 10 years or so that I even knew there was so many varieties. My mom only had hens and chicks. if I recall correctly, that’s what they were called. I think I did some shopping or something and that’s when I realized there were so many variations out there. One thing I love about them is their mutiny colors.

Hi! Why only 20 minutes of baking for the pots? Does the wood burn if you put 30 minutes? Sorry im new to polymer clay 😅
Probably because the pots are going back in the oven for the final bake to include the succulent on top. Different brands require different baking times, you have to follow the instructions on the package. But whatever temp they say you still have to make sure not to over bake as well. When I prebake I usually don't go over 6 minutes, but maybe trying to get the pot off the wooden stick requires her to go for 20 minutes so she won't ruin the pot. The wood won't be a factor in her decision, I'd imagine. The reason for prebaking is to make it easier to go to the next step without ruining the first piece, makes it easier to finish it. Without prebaking the pot she could dent it or get fingerprints on it. Hope this helps. ♡
Hello, I bake pots twice 🤗When I make pots, I also bake pots with plants.
In fact, the baking time depends on the size of the product; if the products are very small, they can be baked for less time.
In any case, I always indicate in the video when I bake and the baking time. (this is the phrase at the bottom of the video on the left) ☺️🫶
