  • The first part of a two-part documentary that was made in 2013, which covers the history of Warrington Wolves Rugby Club, and the town that surrounds it. These films were produced for the Wire2Wolves foundation for their Heritage Timeline, that we also designed in the South Stand of the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Scriked my eyes out watching this.....Chaddie, Paul, Okker, Bob Eccles, Laurie Gilfedder, Murph and of course the great and much missed Mike Gregory. We never knew what we had, did we?

This is a brilliant video. It gets to the heart of what is the essence of RL. I’m a life long Wire fan but it could be about any club. Many happy memories for me even going back to the great Bev.

9:51 The try by Mick Gregory will always be the best try by a WIRE player ...

And what a try that was. I'd just finished night shift and stayed up to watch us against the Aussies. Then after beating them I stayed up for twenty-four hours and got seriously drunk......

Agreed James, but your lucky as they could'nt really do anything with your name which is good.

Saints will always be Saints James, we know the script. Fancy calling Halifax the Blue Sox? Who thought that shite up?

I couldn't agree more Freddie. He was in court with my dad one morning and was treated like a superstar. The last time I saw him was at a Cup match at Hilton Park. He was on sticks then but still full of his usual dry humour. God bless him.
