If anyone watched that two-season tv series years ago, in which Diddy took groups of talented kids, picked some to have the chance to be in a boy band if they followed his orders and passed his tests (some of which seemed to me to discern only how much s*** they would take from him in order to have a chance at a music career), then followed the process, they'd know exactly what kind of person he is.
Under the guise of giving them their big break-- never mind he stood to make a bundle off them-- he would dangle that opportunity in front of them and use it to, as I saw it, revel in his power over them, and sadistically humiliate and bully them.
Not saying that's all that happened, and not saying he's not talented and knowledgeable about not just the business end of things, but about music itself, and how to make it, and make people feel things with your music.
But as I saw it, it was disturbing how much pleasure he was getting from the power he had over them because he had these kids' dream in his hands, and how he enjoyed seeing how far he could push them, and even degrade them.
For me, it was creepy, sad, disgusting, and scarey... a real insight, right there on tv, into his really frightening character, made more frightening by his massive wealth and power, which you could imagine him gleefully reveling in using to make himself feel big by taking others down-- humiliating them, debasing them, making them grovel, building them up for the fun of flexing-- showing them how easily he could knock them down, or dangling the carrot in front of them, only to have the gratification and ego boost of destroying them.
After watching what he did to those young, desperate, powerless innocents, there's nothing that could be revealed about him that would surprise me, including watching him throw a woman down and repeatedly kick her, then drag her away, as he was shown doing in the hotel security footage.
I'm sure there are reasons he is the way he is, but I pity all the people who have gotten involved with him, thinking it was the best thing that ever happened to them...until he pulled off his mask and showed them the monster under it.
p.s. Forgot to add this: I do realize some folks will see me as going too far, being unfair or delusional, etc., in my description of Diddy's behavior and psychology...or at least, my impressions of them. If you want at least a bit more support for this view of Diddy and how he treats people, check out this RUclips video:
    ruclips.net/video/bq5CSjaqzDs/видео.html&ab_channel=JustIn
The vid. starts out talking about Marky Mark (now Mark Wahlberg), and then at approx. the 7 minute mark, reports the experience of a woman named Jaguar, an attorney who worked for Diddy.
I don't want to give too much away, so I'll just say, listen to her description of what happened, and what Diddy said in response to her question about why he didn't lock his door in the building they were working in, and keep watching as he describes not what he did with the people he signed, who were looking to him for support and their big break, but WHY he did it.
I haven't yet watched the rest of the video-- I'm going to do that now-- but I'm guessing there's a whole lot more that is very revealing of exactly what kind of man he is.
