There are some absolute Holy grail moments during this interview. Previously on available only in that issue of Guitar player magazine. To Actually hear Angus speak about them first hand back then in 1983 is truly a dream come true for who know about such things. Thank you Jas are a legend for releasing this interview
My very favourite come-back was when some journo asked Angus who he thought Phil had taken out a hit on . " It'd have to be his dentist " he said. Cracked me right up ! The most recognizable musician on the planet , and the world just loves him.
I look forward to hearing these wonderful and memorable interviews. Thank you so much Jas. You were my favorite writer/ i Journalist on those Guitar magazines.
Your comment is arrogant and void of any intelligence. Simplicity contains tons of genius. If everyone could pull off what they do, everyone would do it but alas, we can't (despite how simple it seems).
Greatest rock band of all time. Malcolm and Angus made a great team. This is a killer interview, the one with Malcolm is also.

Wow! I remember reading this interview as a teenager. It was so exciting getting an insight from Angus.
"How do you hold your pick?" Angus, "With me fingers."...............priceless

I don’t know anything about music or guitar playing but I very much enjoy listening to people who do! Long live Angus Young!
"I never got in a slump because I never got serious about it..." utter casual genius
Just so amazing to hear how musically articulate and humble both Malcolm and Angus are, at their relatively young age during these interviews.
Angus 28 and Malcolm 30 they had been playing for years at this point.
Another excellent interview, so glad I found this podcast!

I love Angus and Malcolm but there are no great musical revelations you will ever learn from them. And they'd be the first to tell you that.
