They left out a few good characters. Andy, Terry, Rene, Hoyt, Jesus, Ginger, Sheriff Dearborn, Maxine Fortenberry, Lorena and Maryann just to name a bunch.

My favorite character was Pam. I loved her loyalty to Eric. She never even tried to fight it like the other proteges. She was 100% loyal to her maker, and damn was she fierce.

I can’t imagine how hard it was for Nelsin Ellis to play a character that was drinking and doing drugs while also struggling with that in real life. He was so captivating and every scene he was in felt real. An incredible talent and I hope he is resting in the peace he deserves
Eric Northman was so under-served by this show. I like what they ultimately did with him, but for me (a reader of the books) I was constantly disappointed that the show chose to elevate Bill over him, when Bill was basically a villain and Eric was the overarching love story for Sookie.

I definitely saw Bill as a villain in the show, and Eric as a much better love story for Sookie. Perhaps it was more in the books. Definitely should read them, actually. But I got that in the show too.

Ginger finally got her wish in the end though. I loved her small supportive role. She definitely was a scene stealer everytime she was on. Definitely the "scream" queen of the entire series.

Aww, I had not heard of Nelsons passing. I met him years ago on the set of Secretariat. Was in some high wedge heels for a race scene and nearly broke my ankle stepping in a hole. He was the only person to reached out to break my fall. Didnt even realize it was him at first. Nice guy and missed. One of the few who remained sociable with us little people on those long grueling hot days.

So underwhelming and begrudging of the character. She literally died off screen. I kept thinking to myself that her mom fabricated Tara's death, so she could go back to her other life in Louisiana. That at least would've been better vindication for the character, than what we got in the tv series.
If they are going to kill her off, at least give her the dignity of going out in a blaze of glory
They did her such dirt throughout the entire series. Shot, pissed upon and treated as an afterthought. It was the ugliest thing about the series. I found it difficult to watch her story.

I love all the characters on Trueblood! What about Hoyt?! He was so lovely and his mother was so wicked! Every actor on that shows was fantastic! The books are just as good and will hook you just as quick! Once I would pick one up you couldn’t rip them out of my hands!

I know that everyone wants to know about all the popular characters, but I want to know what happened to Reverend Daniels and Lettie May, Jackson and Rikki, Hoyt, Terry, Andy and Holly, Emma and Martha, Ginger, Warlow, Godrik, Willa...there are so many great roles to choose from. By the way, Lafayette was my favorite. 😔

I thought it was amazing that Anna and Stephen ended uo together in real life. The entire cast of 'True Blood' was full of amazing talent!!! Read the books by Charlaine Harris. You won"t be disappointed

Rest peacefully, Nelsan Ellis aka Lafayette Reynolds. That character made it so easy for LGBT people to just be themselves. In 2008, it wasn’t easy being openly LGBT (it’s still not easy but.. you should know what I mean) & Lafayette’s character helped people to understand that it’s okay to be different. Normalcy is so overrated.

It’s definitely not just comedy tho, mostly drama and heartache. But the comedy lightens it up!!
@@catherine520 The last two seasons weren't as funny. However, go back and watch the early seasons as if it was a comedy. You will see the ridiculousness, silliness, and that half the characters are comic relief. Jason, Lafayette, and Andy were comedy. Pam's dry humor killed me. The serious characters were ridiculous.
