  • We are unboxing a VINTAGE AIR Gen IV 1960-63 Chevrolet Chevy Pickup Air Conditioning System! Make sure and subscribe to see the installation of this climate control system into our 1962 Classic Chevy Pickup Truck soon!
I got this system in three parts as I did not need the compressor from the full kit (links below as well as a link to the full kit with the compressor -- I am NOT receiving commission from any of the vintage air links). I am not being sponsored by Vintage Air to make this video.

There's some good company's doing retro fit parts. Vintage air is a great one for AC and Heat!

So I have to know, how well does that sucker work? Is it nice and chilly in there on really hot days, and does it drain much hp from your engine?

I actually haven't gotten the time to install it yet. Other projects keep popping up. It is my next planned project on the truck. I don't expect I will notice the power difference since I've got a Cummins under the hood. I'd expect you may notice with the original 235 Chevy though.
