Tried calling the customer service number that came with my grounding mat, says there is someone available 7 days a week at specific hours. Called within those hours, calls go directly to voicemail. Maybe I can get a quicker response here. Can an earthing mat be plugged into a surge protector strip? Used the grounding indicator on the strip and both amber lights show the strip is grounded. Can the power strip be used, or does the cord need to be plugged directly into the wall receptacle?
Sorry, a correction on my last comment. The tester was connected to the grounding port and the mattress was not connected, but the tester turned green as if the mattress was conductive.
I discovered by accident that I had received a defective continuity tester. I tested my Elite Mattress cover without the tester being connected to the grounding port and it turned green. The customer service department was very quick to replace it. I imagine everyone should check their continuity testers this way to be sure they did not receive a defective one. The new one works perfectly fine and I have no complaints. I am so happy I discovered Clint Ober!
Hi, I was wondering what other natural surfaces help with grounding beside grass, or dirt? I have some client that just do not want to touch grass or dirt with their feet, or hands, or sit on it…so what alternatives can I recommend that are natural earth energy conductors, besides the grounding products obviously :) Thank you!!!!
I’m using a cotton sheet on my mattresses cover but the tester doesn’t light up. Does that mean I’m not getting grounded. The pad does light up green when right on the pad. What does that mean?
If you're using the newer grounding sheets (the black colored ones) then the issue is your cotton sheet hasn't become moist enough for the electrons to penetrate the cotton. Do the same test after 30 minutes of lying on it or first thing after awakening.

It's enough to receive the benefits but wearing one on each foot would increase the benefits (more exposure).
