You can change heater settings through the steering wheel using the star button on the right hand side. So don’t have to go into the screen on the move
The only way we're going to stop the manufacturers cutting costs by removing buttons will be to legislate against people being distracted from driving just to adjust the internal temperature.
It’s not a massive step up, the previous gen was hard to fault, it also had ambient lighting and one of the nicest rear cup holders in the business both features they have removed on this model.
I've seen more than one thread with disgruntled MG owners complaining about awful service and repairs under warranty. I actually considered getting this new MG ZS hybrid, but these reports are putting me off....
Looks much, much better than vw tiguan, 24k Amazing! Fed up with European car manufacturers robbing us UK owners. We need more cars from around the world specially China! Value for money!
You can’t switch the parking sensors off at all. If you park in a space and have the ignition on. It beeps non stop. Something as simple as that would make me think twice
the fascination for electronics in cars today, including Android/Apple boggles my mind. My 2016 i30 with my phone as the navigation is more than fine for me. Facepalm for start/stop....
If it’s not got all around cameras, it’s a no no for me - on a serious note though, my 10 year old Qashqui is still brilliant and best of all, zero monthly loan/hire payments 😅
So breaking it down (engine not good enough / no wireless ACP/AA) not good enough with everything in the touchscreen end of review 15 seconds = don’t buy it
Most of the stuff you got is made in China, stop being racist. In China they have the best and most tech cars in the world, we in the UK are living in a 3rd world country compare to China, RUclips if you don't believe me!
Unless you *lease* it rather than buy it. Then the depreciation won't really be your problem. Most people who choose new cars today, tend to lease, not buy.... With leasing, you know exactly what your first and last Monthly payments will be, right up to lease ending. How much the car is worth at the end of the lease won't matter to you. A new Ford Focus (£28k( won't be worth much more after 2 or 3 years either.... £12k on a good day.

yeah sure, those automakers that removed real buttons and knobs should be punished, that sucks

I agree with the rear armrest comment, I have the pre-facelift HS Trophy, the rear armrest is similar to previous gen BMW 7 series and is lovely.
And the front seats are a huge step down! The old HS seats in the trophy version are absolutely awesome!!!!
@ 💯
75 mile EV range on the PHEV?
@ not really his or my point
Why don't you mention insurance bands when reviewing cars? Anyone looking at cheaper cars is not going to like expensive MG insurance.
Second hand will loose a lot of
its £250 cheaper to insure than my current car...
Total range EV+petrol or the PHEV? Or did I miss that?
What is covered under the 7 year warranty? Some one mentioned on another video it’s only the paint work

Missus had one as a hire car after a Tucson got hit.
Well impressed. Pretty good for her family wagon so I can keep in hot hatches lol

75 mile ev is a huge game changer
I have the previous model PHEV, it's utterly brilliant.
Aren't they also top 10 must unreliable car list?
Tell the Chinese to get the buttons back, or leave UK market
These are also known as Temu Teslas
Why are MGs so inefficient??
I remember a review on the MG3 hybrid where they were getting 35 mpg!!
Ridiculous.
USB-A
MG have a poor reputation when it comes to reliability. They even make Jaguar Land Rover look average.
How
7 year warranty....
Do you own one and can list examples?
Talking rubbish
I like that
USB a and c not a b
Ok. What kind of hybrid is this, seires or parallel. For fuck sake, as a automotive journalist why wont u mention that?
Not fake leather just plastic.
But just get the Dacia Bigster
1.5lt enging that won't last long in that tank
So breaking it down (engine not good enough / no wireless ACP/AA) not good enough with everything in the touchscreen end of review 15 seconds
= don’t buy it
Its Hyundai Nissan DH Gate copy
MG poor reliability sticking to the name of old

Guess who makes EVERYTHING!
Your mobile phone, your TV, your PC. All are manufactured there, or contain components sourced from China....

Be worth around £10k in a couple of years 😂🎉

Or buy a premium car and loose that straight away
