- Happy New Year!
To start off 2017, I decided upload my Sega Genesis cover of the first area from the NES game Blaster Master, recreated in Delek's Deflemask Tracker. I also discovered a program called SidWiz2 (courtesy of RushJet1: / rushjet1 ) which lets you view waveforms. At the time I made this video, I used an older version of SidWiz 2, which only allowed 8 channels to be shown, when 9 channels were actually used (the 9th channel is mostly an echo channel for the first PSG channel).
There is already a cover of the song included when you download Deflemask (courtesy of MrKsoft), but I wanted to cover the song using instruments from the 1992 Sunsoft game "Superman."
Edit (5/24/2017): Here is MrKsoft's version of this song: • [Cover] Blaster Master...
JetStar1997 wishes you all a happy 2017! Thanks for listening.
This is what I expected to hear when I first played Blaster Master 2
This cover sounds better than any of the tracks from Blaster Master 2!😄🤩😎👌
This is a little better than Blaster Master 2 music (deliberate understatement)
I agree. I've watched a speedrun of that game. It looked interesting, though I couldn't stand the music I was hearing in the game.
BM2 music is absolute ear torture. Made with Sound Images engine, if you know what that is. Anyway, in all seriousness, this remix of yours is really awesome. :)
UsagiJojo Thanks 👍🏽
Hello. I suscribe your channel. Like
Those drums are nice.
Sounds good
Wily Wars?.
oh my godness! great job really! how do you make this ?? i have sidwiz but i dont how to using this pls help me!
+gmod112 Hello, thanks for watching the video. What I do is that, in Deflemask, I mute all channels except for one, and then I export it as a wave file. Then I do it again for all other channels. Then, I export a wave file with all channels unmuted. I usually make sure that all the wave files are the same length and size. SidWiz can only display a maximum of eight waveforms. After loading up SidWiz, one of the options allows you to add more "voices," so I increase to the number of the sound channels that I have recorded. Afterwards, I load up the individual wave channel files in the "File Info" (I always name the wave files CHX.wav with "X" being the channel number) and then click "Start." It will ask for a codec you want to use (I use DivX 5.0.5), and then, after choosing a video codec, the video will be encoded. Afterwards, I load up a video editing software I normally use (Movie Maker on Windows 10) then place the wave file (the one with all channels unmuted obviously) that goes with the length of the video. I hope this explanation is understandable.
JetStar1997 thanks! really thanks! this is awesome
JetStar1997 hey but i have two question. what video codec your use when you rendering in sidwiz and when rendering ends its stop automaticly or stoo manual - sorry for my bad launguage
gmod112 I use DivX 5.0.5. When the rendering ends, the window closes automatically and wherever you saved the video file is where it's located at.
Saw Blaster Master 2 at GameXChange not too long ago. Is it worth buying?
I believe it is up to the buyer if they consider it worth buying or not
IMO, no, it was my biggest regret purchase of 1993 and a huge let down from the far superior original.
@@Turbotef , however, the Blaster Master game for the PS1 is criminally underrated.
