    This is easily one of the best and most historically and liturgically accurate performances of the Vespers that I have heard/seen : as soon as I heard the sacristy bell ring, I knew that this would be impressive. And what a pleasure it is to hear the Lirone accompanying the "Pulchra es"!

    Leider kann man nur 1x den Daumen hoch liken!… 😢
    Eine wunderbare Darbietung, bei welcher endlich auch wieder einmal die Räumlichkeit der Musik absolut plausibel nachvollzogen wird! ❤ - mE absolut nicht zu vernachlässigen, dass nach „historisch informierter Aufführungspraxis“ die Musik in liturgischen Gesängen in der Regel seltenst von frontal aus dem Altarraum vorgetragen wurde (das war ja schließlich auch der den Pfaffen vorbehaltene Bereich! 😂), sondern die der heiligen Handlung Beiwohnenden mit der musikalischen Offenbarung aus dem Off „überfallen“ werden sollten. 😂
    Ganz ganz toll gedacht UND gemacht! Bravissimi!

    Diapason 450 Hz, Cornetti built especially for this performance....

    • @gianlucasalan
      @gianlucasalan Год назад +1

      Why is the diapason so high? Is it historically accurate for this music? Or maybe for a more practical reason? Love this performance anyways

    • @franzgratl
      @franzgratl Год назад +3

      @@gianlucasalan it is because the historic Ebert organ we used for the performance is on this pitch. As the organ is from 1561, it could indicate the historic diapason used in Innsbruck in the 15th/16th century.

    The best music I have heard on RUclips: Sonata sopra Sancta Maria. I don't know if anyone knows anything about the ornate trombone from the clip - it looks really beautiful.

    • @henryvanengen

      This tenor trombone is built by Aron Vajna, Basel and is an altered copy of the anonymous instrument from c.1560 in the Accademia Filarmonica di Verona.

    Himmels Willen, wie schwer haben die sich das denn gemacht?
    Ich habe schon mal einen Auftritt in der Hofkirche gehabt, wo wir im Chor von der Empore einen Solisten an Hochaltar begleitet haben und vom Volksaltar aus dirigiert worden sind. Es war sehr schwierig den Takt zu halten, jedoch ist es anscheinend ziemlich gut angekommen.
    Dieses Ensemble hat überall, kreuz und quer Sänger und Instrumentalisten. Für ein rhythmisch anspruchsvolles Werk wie die Marienvesper ist das eine ziemliche Herausforderung.

    Can barely hear the cornetts in the opening number - that part of the quick melodic line (maybe a little too quick to even hear it precisely) is drowned out by the rest of the ensemble. Other than that things seem competent.
