Was there in 2020 the place was amazing the Amish people are so nice and boy can they cook had there famous fried chicken the minute you get there it,s like going back into time everyone should try it one time can't wait to go back
Lancaster is so beautiful! The names of the little towns crack me up, some of them I can't believe it is in an Amish area,lol. When we were up there we couldn't find an Amish restaurant. The mashed potatoes looked really good! I can't wait to see your video for the SciFi restaurant, I have only been there once and I loved it.
Donna, I thought about discussing the names of those towns, but I wanted to still keep the video family-friendly! 😆😆 If you get a chance to go up there again, I would definitely recommend eating here. Definitely check out my Sci-Fi Diner review! We really enjoyed that one!
That chicken looked soo good. I surely enjoy the way you do your food vlogs. Great audio track, the approach and even the drive away with rainbow makes the whole video a pleasant experience. I’ve been craving mashed potatoes and gravy so I guess I’ll have to get that elsewhere 🤓

Yeah I know it's me if you go straight it's bird in hand if you make a right it's 896 smoketown and before you get to the light Good and plenty is on the right if you were to go straight you would end up in Strasburg at the Strasburg railroad
last time I went by it was closed and for sale.ade me sad.when I was a kid late 60s early 70s the big school trip was dutch wonderland then good n plenty for dinner.
@@RoadtripDave back then it was all farmland between them no outlets or millers or anything. I am optimistic it will reopen under new owners , the place is iconic and a gold mine.
To be honest, I had never had chow chow before, except for when my wife and I came here in 2007! It actually went very well with the mashed potatoes… The gravy was just not that flavorful. But yes, Kay, the fried chicken is simply outstanding!
Hey there! I have never been to Shady Maple myself, but from just looking at their menu on their website, they appear to have a little more variety of foods than Good ‘n Plenty. I may have to check out that restaurant next time we visit!

Was here with my husband and kids about 18 years ago… we still talk about the ham balls on the Buffet and how delicious they were!!

The fried chicken looks like the stuff my mom made. The chow chow looks nothing like what we are used to. It does look good.
