Another worst thing about griefers is that they will try to defend themselves by saying "it's just a game" or "just get some more" while robbing everthing from your base that you worked so hard on.

I think i’m the builder type, but i have a small story A while ago, i was playing 3008 with my friend and we were building a base when all of a sudden a person comes in. He was the ‘mute’ type of player. He kept giving us food, and kept jumping around and spinning. When it turned to day we asked if he could please leave but he just kept silent. He kept giving us food, so my friend and me decided to build him a small base for himself. We made the small layout of the base and told him to bring us furniture to put in his base. And he did. He kept bringing us stuff and jumping and around and spinning again, it was really wholesome. But then he left (he might’ve got disconnected but we’re not sure) i told my friend his username and we sent him a friend request, as he was really nice. A couple weeks ago he accepted our friend requests :D
I’m glad that you mentioned us “mute”. It’s fun when you aren’t playing with your friend you start to help other players without saying a word. 20-30 mins in my friend joins and I leave them with the most food, medkits, and if needed- light and planks.
I’m missing the hauler category, the people who seek materials for the builder and bring them from point A to point B. Scouts are more interesting because they look for cool stuff but haulers are usually purely functional, they seek requested building materials and bring them to the base. I’d call myself a builder and hauler who likes to go a little off-trail sometimes and acts a bit like a scout
"The abandoned base finder." The abandoned base finder just finds abandoned bases to stay in and would sometimes fix it, there are some players like this and this is a type of player I am sometimes. Usually when the abandoned base finder spawns at night, they would find abandoned bases to stay in before or while getting chased by an employee. Being an abandoned base finder is simple, but when it comes to finding abandoned bases it could be hard since you wouldn't know if the base is owned or not. While finding abandoned bases, you can encounter these bases: The messy abandoned base. The griefed abandoned base (this might be the worst base if it was griefed a lot, but it can be easy to fix if it was only griefed a little). The clean and tidy abandoned base / The builder's abandoned base (basically or obviously just an abandoned base of the builder player). The messy but has food abandoned base (yes it is a messy base, although it is useful since it has food). The different materials abandoned base (a base made out of different stuff combined). The pillar abandoned base (pillar bases have different heights, the base could be near the pillar, beside the pillar, or simply just on the pillar). The best abandoned base / The employee proof abandoned base with extra protection / The base that always has lots of food and medkits. The gamecube abandoned base (meaning the abandoned base has a gamecube). The employee proof abandoned base (will protect you, but sometimes won't really protect you). The parkour abandoned base (meaning you have to parkour in order to get to the base). The shelf abandoned base / The pallet abandoned base. The flying abandoned base (The flying abandoned base can sometimes have a way to get up there or not, it can protect you from some employee attacks, but yet can kill you if its so high up). Different types of things abandoned base finders do when encountering an abandoned base: 1. Take the food and just leave but sets a waypoint. 2. Set a waypoint and just comes to the base whenever they want to. 3. Whistle for other friends so that they can stay in the base and fix it together. 4. Being a coward also a lazy person and just stay in the base if it has lots of food. 5. Be a normal abandoned base finder and just simply stay in the base and get food and medkits when needed.

they should add a feature where you can claim a small territory, and inside of your territory noone apart from you (or friends if you give them permissions) can move or take anything. and when you leave the game your territory disappears so the objects you use for your base aren't locked in place. this could stop griefers
Griefers made me temporarily quit 3008. Here’s a story I had with a griefer: My friend was in the process of making a HUMONGOUS shelf base (like 12+ pallets long, 5-6 pallets wide, and 3-4 pallets tall) and it took over 3 hours to build (even after me and some others joined to help her). We made it highly detailed and honestly very high-quality. After we finished, someone came along and asked to take refuge. We said yes, which would prove to be a huge mistake. After a few nights, he randomly decided to destroy 3 or 4 hours of work. It was already someone’s friend at the base, so they unfriended him and we all blocked him. We never saw him ever again.

Once I was building 4 bases for 5 hours in a public server ( I dont have private servers this time it happens ) and then multiple people joined ( the server looked like a private server ) and 4 of them stayed in me and my friends base, one tried to steal my friends gamecube but luckily I hid it, many mins later there's multiple people hiding at my base someone was being chased by a employee, didn't see the entrance and just tored a pallet apart, I had a toys collection so I actually got very mad and snapped, she did a very big mistake and people blamed her and I suddenly left the server while she was saying "I'm so sorry", but now I keep quiet on public servers only if I don't have s friend in the server.
I stopped playing the game since I played it for like hours and hours straight. And also cause the game is overpopulated now. Three years ago it wasn’t even too popular
You missed the paranoid player. They usually just stay in their base forever or occasionally come out searching for food and return 3 minutes before night because they’re paranoid and don’t have the timer gamepass.
I'm the paranoid player the most paranoid one like when I am searching for food I always have the feeling when I get back on my base I have another feeling that random players think that it was a abandoned build and just edit the base
I’m definitely a mix between a scout and a builder. When I build a base my priority isn’t to make the biggest or strongest base but to create one that looks amazing. Finding stupid toys and furniture to decorate my base with is really fun for me.
A few days ago I made this sky base and let any passerbys stay the night. There was one player who would come back every night after getting chased by employees and it was kind of annoying but I honestly just liked the feeling of helping them out. :D I fit into the builder category
SAME! I made a sky base and ppl kept coming back when they were low on health, so i would let them stay and give them medkits. It was slightly annoying, but it felt good. I always like building as well!
I’ve only had one experience with a griefer (which was today), and I was making a base that I was pretty proud of. It was night time, and this girl came into my base uninvited, and generally I’m okay with people coming into my base for a bit in order to survive, as long as they’re respectful and put things back in the right place. However, the girl came in, stole my BED, started rearranging my furniture, and tried to lure the employees to me, which ended up getting me killed. I told her to stop, and asked why she kept doing that, and replied with “because I can”, which caused me to close the game out of rage. I really don’t understand why some people get some weird kick out of annoying other players, like just let people enjoy the game :(
The smart players. They always have the safest base in the perfect spot, they almost never die, they can somehow tell who is a griefer, they use their materials in the smartest way, and they are normally very friendly.
I would of included that one guy who just moves into your base, uninvited and is hard to get them to leave. But other than that, this is actually accurate.

You forgot the roommate player. That one player who comes up to your base and stays with you, but later after all of the stuff you collected throughout the day, he just grabs and eats , wastes, and loses all of that stuff. :(
I had one roommate player while I was playing with my cousin. He said he want permission to stay. But we accepted (even tho I feel like I don’t trust him) Days went by,and he started trying to steal food. I told my cousin that he should be gone but she still let him stay. Later, my cousin said he was hoarding the food.(But he still stayed with us)

I remember when my sister and I found a super intricate shelf base. Lucky for us, the builder/builders who made it had left, or at least just abandoned the base, so we got to adopt and appreciate the amazing house.
There are also players that ask to join you and your base when you are playing with your friend and you try to tell them politely that you and your friend want to play alone. Then they get really mad and start griefing your base 😕
you forgot “The Flight Attendant” -The one player that likes giving the “employees’” a free trip to Brazil (me) by using the ‘sender device’. How this works is he finds a closet and adjusts it to face downwards and then the device is primed. Then he walks around to find an employee big and tall enough to be eligible for flight then sets off the device by dropping the device on the “employee’s” and then the device does the rest. Once successful, the player will laugh. If the flight is hastily reaching the skies the player dies laughing.
"The Troll" Similiar intent to the griefer (annoying people) except less extreme and less toxic, most of the time they just do a couple of stuff like bringing an employee to you, adding some random thing into your base like a table or something, or just do other dumb shananigans, they don't do it to be toxic but just for the intent of getting a laugh out of it
Today I met a mute player with my bff in 3008. DUDE THEY WERE SO NICE😭😭 They helped us get food, organised it at nighttime but one weird thing was they always left for a really long time and came back. They never helped expand but dude they were so helpful😍 I was so grateful and I got a screenshot of their user before they left. Thank you person💝
YASSS I’m a builder too! I hate it when they are messy and I always like things PERFECT and clean looking. Every time my friend places smth down I always refine it to perfectly line up with the next object.
One I think you forgot is the Nomad, a mix of the Scout and Mute I guess. They normally go running from base to base, carrying food and medkits and will probably let you have some. They might make little outposts from their main base, that is, if they have one, and might settle on a spot. I have literally never seen someone do this other than me, though
same i gather lots of food and drop it in my base i then search for other players to give them supplies and ask if they would like to join me in building a massive base and surviving with tons of others
i've only seen a griefer 2 times in my time playing this game. one time is when me and my friends were peacefully in a base and then a girl just came and destroyed EVERY SINGLE THING in the base, stole all the food, pushed me down to feed me to the ikeans(employees) and when i got back, she dropped a ladder on me (btw dropping heavy items on ppl fling them seriously high up and far away) and i flew to the opposite corner of the ikea and died due to fall damage. the other time is when i was building my base, this guy just broke into my base, took all the food, MAYBE he threw some stuff out as well but he wasn't as bad as the first one-
There could be the player that cannot see an employee in the daytime without building a containment chamber around it, and maybe someone who does collect all the food in an area but will also hand it out to nearby bases.
i met a mute yesterday and they were kind, they didn't talk much but they didn't grief my base and they kept bringing food but they just stayed in the base
you can easily defeat the griefer by putting every piece he grabs back to your own base. after only a few minutes he gives up, if you quickly put your walls back and choose not to confront the griefer via chat. you will also get a grasp of what your base looked like before mayhem
Well seems that I've been a scout almost every time I play the game and I've found the game cube a pretty decent number of times but before I just roam around the whole map, I often just build a very basic base but when I'm feeling like it I'm a bit of a builder myself and sometimes when I just want a quick little play through the game I'm a bit of a mute player so yeah, with all the griefers, material stealers and annoying base stealers, I still had a great time playing the game :) Edit : kinda forgot about full stops but that's too late now bc my battery is low
I'm definitely a Builder type, i make my base with pallets for floors or walls and of course one wall has to be made out of coffee tables, recently a lot of players keep coming to my base (Thankfully not all of them are Griefer's). They bring me food and materials to build with which is very sweet, one time half of the server was living in my base, i felt like a leader when i was telling them what to do in the morning (Maybe a "Leader" is also a type of scp 3008 player?)
Griefers are literally the most annoying, terrible in general, people. I had a base that I spent hours on and still wasn't done building then, all of the sudden, a random girl decided to lead employees to our base AND tear it down- I just started lashing out at them in the chat because of my anger issues. The base was sloppy but it was safe.
Don't forget "The Hostage" The type of player who's running away from workers and ended up inside your base and demands you to drop your food/medkits or else they will break your base.

You know what the next update needs? The option to claim specific blocks and lands and only if your friends need to interact with your base to you can let them have like a trust option and like and trust them and touching your face that way no Griefers will destroy your base that’s what they need to add
I'm definitely the food hog, I always just wander around, look around for cafeterias, and mark the waypoints, then return to the base, then absolutely drain the heck out of the server's food supply every time it restocks
I guess I'm a mix of Builder/Hunter/Scout, I would push down Employees just to get the Material that I want for my Base, push Employees to my "Cage" or help other players that I see getting chased. I like to set Waypoints at location that I find useful, But I'm very picky because if I ever found a certain plot it should be near from the stuffs that I want to use next for my build. And yeah, I don't really care how far I am as long as I get the materials that I want while messing with the Employees.
I think I’m sort of the builder type. However, I don’t always focus on getting the exact same materials for my builds because some may be hard to scavenge for and can cause you to trek far from your base. This can easily give employees the advantage in killing you. Except for that, I’m a pretty precise builder.
Yesterday I found an abandoned base that was incredibly messy, told my friends I was gonna go check inside it... there was HUNDREDS of items, such as food, drinks, medkits, etc
You missed the "Wolf" which is a player who has no base but like runs around taking food and making their lives harder by running or pushing employees at night. All they do is just hog the food from the cafe and zoom off.
I'm a builder kind of player, but I also part time as a scout/hunter. I'm also a "food hog", but I usually grab whats most important and leave some slots empty for when I find more food that might be better. Practically speaking, I'm mostly a *Solo Player.*
not exactly sure if this counts as a griefer - but here's an (annoying) experience i've had with someone. so basically, i was building a base with my best friend. we were in the shelves, using pallets for the walls and floors. we gathered furniture (this was a larger base), and even created a little place to store food and medkits. so anyway, night comes along, we both block off any entrances to this base. we're just chillin, knowing no employees can get in, and all is well (at the time). then, suddenly, this girl approaches our base, and literally comes in uninvited. she takes off one of our pallets and walks in. surprise, surprise, an employee was in the area and came into the base - health was lost but fortunately, nobody was killed. she also moved other pallets around, disorganizing our base. so the girl is still in our base and we're asking her to leave and she keeps replying with random things, and we realize some of our food is missing. yup, the girl stole some of our food. so obviously, we're asking her why she stole and we're telling her to leave. after completely ignoring us, eventually, she tells us her friend is joining, as in staying in the base too, and asks if that's ok. obviously me and my bsf are upset and do *not* want anyone else in our base at this point, but she invites her friend anyway. i may as well remind you that this girl never closed off our base after coming in. as her friend is arriving, lucky for us, another employee was in the area, and this time me and my bsf both ended up getting killed (we weren't sure what happened to the girl). so there i was, separated from my base, completely forgetting to add a waypoint ;w; (that's kind of on me tbh) and yes, this all happened in one night. another experience was when me and my other good friend spent at least 2 hours building a nice, big base, and some dude comes in and mixes all the walls up and takes a bunch of our food :/
I'm normally the Scout and mostly Hunter Type, I enjoyed pushing those employees rather than building a base, although when with a friend, I'm either find an abandoned base or Build our own although I sometimes do it when I'm playing on a random server whenever I needed to afk or do something, when building I won't really find any specific materials like the pallets rather I use tables mostly since they are easier to find that's all.
I'm kinda mild food hog 😅 😃 i just loved seeing so many foodS to share and i consider being a builder too but not a snap user. Just loved to build huge bases and hunt at night sometime.
I'm the super extreme builder, I totally love building bases and many other things. I will usually enter inside servers and go asking anyone I see if they want me to build their base, I actually like building other peoples base, so when they say yes, first thing I ask is "wich type?" Maybe they want a tiny house, or a mansion, maybe a base to store food, a secret base so that griefers can't get their things and etc. One thing I love about building is that I can put things together perfectly or almost perfectly without any struggle, so the base looks literally perfect. One time I got inside a server and everyone wanted to live in one house, helping eachother, I constructed a literal mansion using anything I could, going way too far to get more things to build and decorate it, while the players helped me bring things and also a lot of food for energy, they were so grateful that I cannot express how grateful they were with just words. P.s: If you ever get inside a server and you have the chance to see a tiny base made with transparent/glass tables, with a giant stair going to it while all you can see is a noob or rainbow pencil inside, I'm probably inside your server ;)
I’m a neurodivergent player, and i’m very particular about my base, but i still like to invite people to come and stay at my base. Today i made a base that took me nearly 2 1/2 hours, and it was the best base i’ve ever built, and by far my favorite. Two people came over, stayed for about thirty minutes, and then destroyed it within twenty seconds. After that they stole my food and left. Currently crying lol, watch out for these people and try to lock your base the best you can ;v;
Never trust those ones. A good indication they are about to take over is when they whistle. They're usually calling their friends to come grief. It is terribly heartbreaking but you are not alone. I've had just about every type of grief possible. There are genuinely nice players, you'll find them :)
What about the building knight? They are very very rare.They build bases in random places for new players that join. When they find a player they'll do their quest for you workout a doubt.similar to scout
I’m that one person who finds a well elevated location, and makes a base that’s completely made up of couches. I would then give the base to the first person who finds my base, and leave the game to hop into a different server to do that all over again. I always found it fun and random to use couches as a main base material and idk why. (Yes, I randomly stumbled across this video. Have a wonderful day!)
I have kind of player that I meat but rarely I would call them the collectors I will sometimes stumble along people running back and forth and in their bases there would be like gamecube rock paint songs and basically a lot of toys and items this is kinda like the scout but just searching for rare items
I wish they add an update where we can play in like a Private server with friends or people who invite. Just no admin, just a normal server but with with handpicked friends. Also I wish there was a system where you can find people to build with.
I would add The Helper. The kind of people who look around for any people that needs help like getting food or building bases and went look for another when they're done helping. Random story: I once built a base which somehow a lot of people stop by and let them take the foods/medkits. But then a griefer took all the pallets around my base to make their own base. At blood night.
The first (and only!) griefer I ever had was a bacon. They didn't talk, they just kept ripping apart my mansion (treehouse mansion to be specific) and destroyed my way to get into it. There were 2 other people and thankfully, we stopped them from destroying more.
I'm a mute scout. I usually camp at the edge of the map and finding every cafeteria, shelf, snack bar, any plot that contains good resources. I never talk or go to anyone else's base; it's hard to find me unless I run past you with Dr. Bob Soda in my inventory.
*The Roleplayer* This is the type of person who just got out of life in paradise. They have no idea how 3008 works so they decide it's a roleplay game. I've only seen two of these and they were friends. They were funny. That's for sure.
You forgot one, the medic. The medic is the type of guy that only carries med kits and nothing else, they're amateur builders but if you're hurt they'll assist IMMEDIATELY.
Once I found a group of hunters who had made a big cage out of tables and a ramp leading up to it. When night came they attracted as many employees as they could and pushed them in.
the one that griefs your base and tries to gaslight you into thinking they didn't. I just encountered two. One entered our base during blood night, stole our food -without our permission!- and then stole our walls. whilst leading an employee to us.
you forgot one The Wanderer: He just wanders around the game, stopping at bases, abandoned or not for the night. when day starts he continues wandering. This guy does not have a base of any kind, he prefers to wander.
i made a huge treehouse once and started making roommates and we were blocking the doors on blood night and a bunch of griefers started taking our pallets for their own base
the builders worst enemy is the person who renovates without permission ...... . and the renovation sucks :') . . this happened to me and i almost want to end my self
in 100 players I ran into the rudest griefer in history. they kept calling my team's base trash, destroying it as usual, and making us vulnerable to the employees. we tried building a skybase, but they kept destroying the bridge. we had a big team, and turns out it was one of our team member's friends. they were confused, and there were only 2 left other than me.

The best thing to do when there are griefers is going in a priv server to just play with ur friends (if you don’t have bobux to buy it VIP single player is free!) btw I’m a mix of a hunter a builder and a scout hunter part is sometimes at night when I have no base or my base is far away I just search for employees to push down and then run away to me base scout part is I will literally look for specific items which also leads to my builder part bc I need specific parts for my base

I may or may not have stopped being a griefer because once i dismantled a Mega Base which someone spent hours on, its called a little bit of tomfoolery to some people who fall into our mental and physical traps
there is this one type between the hunter and the builder that roams the map checking for employees lures them into the base and just traps them in a glass container for all to see. personally it might just be me but i hope there are other people that do this.
I'm a combination of a Builder and a Food hogger, primarily what I'll do is make a storage room with neatly packed masses of food so that I don't have to worry about it while building.
As one of the Mute player types, normally I just kinda focus on building my base, getting food and surviving and I’ll let people stay at my base for a night so they can get home, I’ll give them food if they need it cause it’s fun helping people and I normally have a lot of food anyways lol- it’s also fun cause not many people annoy you
The survivor: A player who never makes a main base and usually survives by running around and collecting food for their neverending journey. If they need to, they make temporary bases at night times.
The mute is like that kid that you meet and become friends and have, like the greatest time together and then you’ll never meet each other again. It’s sad to see them go…😢
other type of player base abandoner: they make bases and either leave the game or go somewhere else, you almost never see them ever, also they usually have bad bases and abandon them, but half the time, they build good ones and abandon them. another type landlord: they let atleast 2 people into their base, basically you are their roommate, you pay "rent," by either giving food or giving building things, they are rarely going out because you give them things as "rent." another another type the searcher: searches for players, almost always doesnt build and are basically scouts but they look for players and abandoned bases, sometimes they look for food but not always, they usually are nice and want to live with you, but sometimes they are rude.
I would call myself a nomad in 3008. Basically I travel around the map aimlessly looking for food. At night I will hide using a bathtub or just continue walking around. Essentially a hunter/scout/food hog combo

He kept bringing us stuff and jumping and around and spinning again, it was really wholesome. But then he left (he might’ve got disconnected but we’re not sure) i told my friend his username and we sent him a friend request, as he was really nice. A couple weeks ago he accepted our friend requests :D

I’m glad that you mentioned us “mute”. It’s fun when you aren’t playing with your friend you start to help other players without saying a word. 20-30 mins in my friend joins and I leave them with the most food, medkits, and if needed- light and planks.
I’m missing the hauler category, the people who seek materials for the builder and bring them from point A to point B. Scouts are more interesting because they look for cool stuff but haulers are usually purely functional, they seek requested building materials and bring them to the base.
I’d call myself a builder and hauler who likes to go a little off-trail sometimes and acts a bit like a scout

"The abandoned base finder."
The abandoned base finder just finds abandoned bases to stay in and would sometimes fix it, there are some players like this and this is a type of player I am sometimes. Usually when the abandoned base finder spawns at night, they would find abandoned bases to stay in before or while getting chased by an employee. Being an abandoned base finder is simple, but when it comes to finding abandoned bases it could be hard since you wouldn't know if the base is owned or not. While finding abandoned bases, you can encounter these bases:
The messy abandoned base.
The griefed abandoned base (this might be the worst base if it was griefed a lot, but it can be easy to fix if it was only griefed a little).
The clean and tidy abandoned base / The builder's abandoned base (basically or obviously just an abandoned base of the builder player).
The messy but has food abandoned base (yes it is a messy base, although it is useful since it has food).
The different materials abandoned base (a base made out of different stuff combined).
The pillar abandoned base (pillar bases have different heights, the base could be near the pillar, beside the pillar, or simply just on the pillar).
The best abandoned base / The employee proof abandoned base with extra protection / The base that always has lots of food and medkits.
The gamecube abandoned base (meaning the abandoned base has a gamecube).
The employee proof abandoned base (will protect you, but sometimes won't really protect you).
The parkour abandoned base (meaning you have to parkour in order to get to the base).
The shelf abandoned base / The pallet abandoned base.
The flying abandoned base (The flying abandoned base can sometimes have a way to get up there or not, it can protect you from some employee attacks, but yet can kill you if its so high up).
Different types of things abandoned base finders do when encountering an abandoned base:
1. Take the food and just leave but sets a waypoint.
2. Set a waypoint and just comes to the base whenever they want to.
3. Whistle for other friends so that they can stay in the base and fix it together.
4. Being a coward also a lazy person and just stay in the base if it has lots of food.
5. Be a normal abandoned base finder and just simply stay in the base and get food and medkits when needed.
I prefer to call them scavengers

I call the abandoned base finders who take their time to tidy up and renovate the base “renovators”.
they should add a feature where you can claim a small territory, and inside of your territory noone apart from you (or friends if you give them permissions) can move or take anything. and when you leave the game your territory disappears so the objects you use for your base aren't locked in place. this could stop griefers

Here’s a story I had with a griefer:
My friend was in the process of making a HUMONGOUS shelf base (like 12+ pallets long, 5-6 pallets wide, and 3-4 pallets tall) and it took over 3 hours to build (even after me and some others joined to help her). We made it highly detailed and honestly very high-quality. After we finished, someone came along and asked to take refuge. We said yes, which would prove to be a huge mistake. After a few nights, he randomly decided to destroy 3 or 4 hours of work. It was already someone’s friend at the base, so they unfriended him and we all blocked him. We never saw him ever again.

Once I was building 4 bases for 5 hours in a public server ( I dont have private servers this time it happens ) and then multiple people joined ( the server looked like a private server ) and 4 of them stayed in me and my friends base, one tried to steal my friends gamecube but luckily I hid it, many mins later there's multiple people hiding at my base someone was being chased by a employee, didn't see the entrance and just tored a pallet apart, I had a toys collection so I actually got very mad and snapped, she did a very big mistake and people blamed her and I suddenly left the server while she was saying "I'm so sorry", but now I keep quiet on public servers only if I don't have s friend in the server.

You missed the paranoid player. They usually just stay in their base forever or occasionally come out searching for food and return 3 minutes before night because they’re paranoid and don’t have the timer gamepass.

I’m definitely a mix between a scout and a builder. When I build a base my priority isn’t to make the biggest or strongest base but to create one that looks amazing. Finding stupid toys and furniture to decorate my base with is really fun for me.

I’ve only had one experience with a griefer (which was today), and I was making a base that I was pretty proud of. It was night time, and this girl came into my base uninvited, and generally I’m okay with people coming into my base for a bit in order to survive, as long as they’re respectful and put things back in the right place. However, the girl came in, stole my BED, started rearranging my furniture, and tried to lure the employees to me, which ended up getting me killed. I told her to stop, and asked why she kept doing that, and replied with “because I can”, which caused me to close the game out of rage. I really don’t understand why some people get some weird kick out of annoying other players, like just let people enjoy the game :(

The smart players. They always have the safest base in the perfect spot, they almost never die, they can somehow tell who is a griefer, they use their materials in the smartest way, and they are normally very friendly.

There are also players that ask to join you and your base when you are playing with your friend and you try to tell them politely that you and your friend want to play alone. Then they get really mad and start griefing your base 😕

-The one player that likes giving the “employees’” a free trip to Brazil (me) by using the ‘sender device’.
How this works is he finds a closet and adjusts it to face downwards and then the device is primed. Then he walks around to find an employee big and tall enough to be eligible for flight then sets off the device by dropping the device on the “employee’s” and then the device does the rest. Once successful, the player will laugh. If the flight is hastily reaching the skies the player dies laughing.

YASSS I’m a builder too! I hate it when they are messy and I always like things PERFECT and clean looking. Every time my friend places smth down I always refine it to perfectly line up with the next object.
One I think you forgot is the Nomad, a mix of the Scout and Mute I guess. They normally go running from base to base, carrying food and medkits and will probably let you have some. They might make little outposts from their main base, that is, if they have one, and might settle on a spot.

one time is when me and my friends were peacefully in a base and then a girl just came and destroyed EVERY SINGLE THING in the base, stole all the food, pushed me down to feed me to the ikeans(employees) and when i got back, she dropped a ladder on me (btw dropping heavy items on ppl fling them seriously high up and far away) and i flew to the opposite corner of the ikea and died due to fall damage. the other time is when i was building my base, this guy just broke into my base, took all the food, MAYBE he threw some stuff out as well but he wasn't as bad as the first one-

There could be the player that cannot see an employee in the daytime without building a containment chamber around it, and maybe someone who does collect all the food in an area but will also hand it out to nearby bases.
i met a mute yesterday and they were kind, they didn't talk much but they didn't grief my base and they kept bringing food but they just stayed in the base
you can easily defeat the griefer by putting every piece he grabs back to your own base. after only a few minutes he gives up, if you quickly put your walls back and choose not to confront the griefer via chat. you will also get a grasp of what your base looked like before mayhem
just say "I didn't really like the look of that wall, thanks for tearing it down for me"

Well seems that I've been a scout almost every time I play the game and I've found the game cube a pretty decent number of times but before I just roam around the whole map, I often just build a very basic base but when I'm feeling like it I'm a bit of a builder myself and sometimes when I just want a quick little play through the game I'm a bit of a mute player so yeah, with all the griefers, material stealers and annoying base stealers, I still had a great time playing the game :)

I'm definitely a Builder type, i make my base with pallets for floors or walls and of course one wall has to be made out of coffee tables, recently a lot of players keep coming to my base (Thankfully not all of them are Griefer's). They bring me food and materials to build with which is very sweet, one time half of the server was living in my base, i felt like a leader when i was telling them what to do in the morning (Maybe a "Leader" is also a type of scp 3008 player?)

I guess I'm a mix of Builder/Hunter/Scout, I would push down Employees just to get the Material that I want for my Base, push Employees to my "Cage" or help other players that I see getting chased. I like to set Waypoints at location that I find useful, But I'm very picky because if I ever found a certain plot it should be near from the stuffs that I want to use next for my build.
And yeah, I don't really care how far I am as long as I get the materials that I want while messing with the Employees.
I think I’m sort of the builder type. However, I don’t always focus on getting the exact same materials for my builds because some may be hard to scavenge for and can cause you to trek far from your base. This can easily give employees the advantage in killing you. Except for that, I’m a pretty precise builder.
Yesterday I found an abandoned base that was incredibly messy, told my friends I was gonna go check inside it... there was HUNDREDS of items, such as food, drinks, medkits, etc
You missed the "Wolf" which is a player who has no base but like runs around taking food and making their lives harder by running or pushing employees at night. All they do is just hog the food from the cafe and zoom off.

not exactly sure if this counts as a griefer - but here's an (annoying) experience i've had with someone.
so basically, i was building a base with my best friend. we were in the shelves, using pallets for the walls and floors. we gathered furniture (this was a larger base), and even created a little place to store food and medkits.
so anyway, night comes along, we both block off any entrances to this base. we're just chillin, knowing no employees can get in, and all is well (at the time).
then, suddenly, this girl approaches our base, and literally comes in uninvited. she takes off one of our pallets and walks in. surprise, surprise, an employee was in the area and came into the base - health was lost but fortunately, nobody was killed. she also moved other pallets around, disorganizing our base. so the girl is still in our base and we're asking her to leave and she keeps replying with random things, and we realize some of our food is missing. yup, the girl stole some of our food. so obviously, we're asking her why she stole and we're telling her to leave. after completely ignoring us, eventually, she tells us her friend is joining, as in staying in the base too, and asks if that's ok. obviously me and my bsf are upset and do *not* want anyone else in our base at this point, but she invites her friend anyway.
i may as well remind you that this girl never closed off our base after coming in. as her friend is arriving, lucky for us, another employee was in the area, and this time me and my bsf both ended up getting killed (we weren't sure what happened to the girl).
so there i was, separated from my base, completely forgetting to add a waypoint ;w; (that's kind of on me tbh)
and yes, this all happened in one night.
another experience was when me and my other good friend spent at least 2 hours building a nice, big base, and some dude comes in and mixes all the walls up and takes a bunch of our food :/

I'm normally the Scout and mostly Hunter Type, I enjoyed pushing those employees rather than building a base, although when with a friend, I'm either find an abandoned base or Build our own although I sometimes do it when I'm playing on a random server whenever I needed to afk or do something, when building I won't really find any specific materials like the pallets rather I use tables mostly since they are easier to find that's all.
I’m lucky to never have a run-in with a griefer playing this game.

I'm the super extreme builder, I totally love building bases and many other things.
I will usually enter inside servers and go asking anyone I see if they want me to build their base, I actually like building other peoples base, so when they say yes, first thing I ask is "wich type?" Maybe they want a tiny house, or a mansion, maybe a base to store food, a secret base so that griefers can't get their things and etc. One thing I love about building is that I can put things together perfectly or almost perfectly without any struggle, so the base looks literally perfect. One time I got inside a server and everyone wanted to live in one house, helping eachother, I constructed a literal mansion using anything I could, going way too far to get more things to build and decorate it, while the players helped me bring things and also a lot of food for energy, they were so grateful that I cannot express how grateful they were with just words.
P.s: If you ever get inside a server and you have the chance to see a tiny base made with transparent/glass tables, with a giant stair going to it while all you can see is a noob or rainbow pencil inside, I'm probably inside your server ;)
I’m a neurodivergent player, and i’m very particular about my base, but i still like to invite people to come and stay at my base. Today i made a base that took me nearly 2 1/2 hours, and it was the best base i’ve ever built, and by far my favorite. Two people came over, stayed for about thirty minutes, and then destroyed it within twenty seconds. After that they stole my food and left. Currently crying lol, watch out for these people and try to lock your base the best you can ;v;

Never trust those ones. A good indication they are about to take over is when they whistle. They're usually calling their friends to come grief. It is terribly heartbreaking but you are not alone. I've had just about every type of grief possible. There are genuinely nice players, you'll find them :)

I do this after I'm done building a mansion. Just build mini startup bases so new players at least have safety.
I’m that one person who finds a well elevated location, and makes a base that’s completely made up of couches. I would then give the base to the first person who finds my base, and leave the game to hop into a different server to do that all over again.
I always found it fun and random to use couches as a main base material and idk why.

Another type of player are the “Rayd Fans” who only plays using Rayd’s SCP-3008 tutorials and only builds the stuff Rayd built in his videos.
I have kind of player that I meat but rarely I would call them the collectors I will sometimes stumble along people running back and forth and in their bases there would be like gamecube rock paint songs and basically a lot of toys and items this is kinda like the scout but just searching for rare items

The closest you will get is to always BLOCK players who grief. Then you shouldn't get them in the same server again.

Random story: I once built a base which somehow a lot of people stop by and let them take the foods/medkits. But then a griefer took all the pallets around my base to make their own base. At blood night.
The first (and only!) griefer I ever had was a bacon. They didn't talk, they just kept ripping apart my mansion (treehouse mansion to be specific) and destroyed my way to get into it. There were 2 other people and thankfully, we stopped them from destroying more.
I'm a mute scout. I usually camp at the edge of the map and finding every cafeteria, shelf, snack bar, any plot that contains good resources. I never talk or go to anyone else's base; it's hard to find me unless I run past you with Dr. Bob Soda in my inventory.

The medic is the type of guy that only carries med kits and nothing else, they're amateur builders but if you're hurt they'll assist IMMEDIATELY.
forgot the trapper, its the crazy folks that run around boxing in employees during the day.
Once I found a group of hunters who had made a big cage out of tables and a ramp leading up to it. When night came they attracted as many employees as they could and pushed them in.
the one that griefs your base and tries to gaslight you into thinking they didn't. I just encountered two. One entered our base during blood night, stole our food -without our permission!- and then stole our walls. whilst leading an employee to us.

The Wanderer: He just wanders around the game, stopping at bases, abandoned or not for the night. when day starts he continues wandering. This guy does not have a base of any kind, he prefers to wander.
i made a huge treehouse once and started making roommates and we were blocking the doors on blood night and a bunch of griefers started taking our pallets for their own base

this happened to me and i almost want to end my self
in 100 players I ran into the rudest griefer in history. they kept calling my team's base trash, destroying it as usual, and making us vulnerable to the employees. we tried building a skybase, but they kept destroying the bridge. we had a big team, and turns out it was one of our team member's friends. they were confused, and there were only 2 left other than me.
yes we had every type of player.

Someone that traps npcs to make peace at ikea
The scientist: Experiments trapped npcs
The guard: the one who loves to watch at the employees all the time
The best thing to do when there are griefers is going in a priv server to just play with ur friends (if you don’t have bobux to buy it VIP single player is free!) btw I’m a mix of a hunter a builder and a scout hunter part is sometimes at night when I have no base or my base is far away I just search for employees to push down and then run away to me base scout part is I will literally look for specific items which also leads to my builder part bc I need specific parts for my base
Once there was a player who tried to place random items in our base to catch us but he left us alone and gave up
the "get out" people when its literally night time
In Roblox 3008 I'm actually someone who:
- set more then 2 wide points.
- Welcoming other survivors to get into my base.
- Hides in base like a dead person at night.
- Collect foods
I think the reason why the mutes don't talk is because they're either playing on Xbox because you can't chat or they just don't want to talk
I may or may not have stopped being a griefer because once i dismantled a Mega Base which someone spent hours on, its called a little bit of tomfoolery to some people who fall into our mental and physical traps
There is that type of players who dosen't know about tiny doors and just move the walls to enter your base, this is even worse at night
there is this one type between the hunter and the builder that roams the map checking for employees lures them into the base and just traps them in a glass container for all to see. personally it might just be me but i hope there are other people that do this.

I'm a combination of a Builder and a Food hogger, primarily what I'll do is make a storage room with neatly packed masses of food so that I don't have to worry about it while building.
You forgot the scared player. The player who sits in the corner at night freaking out
As one of the Mute player types, normally I just kinda focus on building my base, getting food and surviving and I’ll let people stay at my base for a night so they can get home, I’ll give them food if they need it cause it’s fun helping people and I normally have a lot of food anyways lol- it’s also fun cause not many people annoy you
The survivor: A player who never makes a main base and usually survives by running around and collecting food for their neverending journey. If they need to, they make temporary bases at night times.
when you’re running to ur base with your hunger bar at 2% waiting for that sweet good food, only to find ur base destroyed and all your food gone.
The mute is like that kid that you meet and become friends and have, like the greatest time together and then you’ll never meet each other again. It’s sad to see them go…😢

base abandoner: they make bases and either leave the game or go somewhere else, you almost never see them ever, also they usually have bad bases and abandon them, but half the time, they build good ones and abandon them.
another type
landlord: they let atleast 2 people into their base, basically you are their roommate, you pay "rent," by either giving food or giving building things, they are rarely going out because you give them things as "rent."

the searcher: searches for players, almost always doesnt build and are basically scouts but they look for players and abandoned bases, sometimes they look for food but not always, they usually are nice and want to live with you, but sometimes they are rude.
I would call myself a nomad in 3008. Basically I travel around the map aimlessly looking for food. At night I will hide using a bathtub or just continue walking around. Essentially a hunter/scout/food hog combo
