Since I have yet to begin my journey in Metalsmithing (I have nearly all the required elements) can I use my glass-shaping saw for some of the harder metals? That would save a lot of time and energy. Just want to know how to save my already arthritic fingers from any further damage/pain.

I'm not entirely sure I'm afraid. I would imagine a glass shaping saw is very different from a piercing saw for metal. Sorry I can't help x
