@@na2718 I agree with that. The fundamental problem is that white conservatives lack ethno-cultural solidarity and they still fundamentally trust liberal whites to basically "play by the rules". Muslim populations are far more solid and have no reason to trust the ruling classes. Not that I consider them my enemies either. As a straight guy i understand gays have been under attack by pretty much everyone for a very long time. Even their own families for some.. All they want is to be accepted as something that is normal. Right now we live in a time where they have to march in the streets and carry flags to make people who wanna stick their head in the sand and claim everything was fine before understand why it was not fine before.. Those people who don't understand needs to be unable to ignore it. The parades and flags will go away with time when its no longer needed, but right now it kinda is. As long as we have close-minded religious communities (islam in this video) its gonna take some time. Fighting for same rights and being able to publicly show affection to someone of the same gender without it causing shock and anger among the crowd... We are slowly getting there.

What most don't know is that any City, State, County, or Government building and it's owners have every right to accept or deny any flag that is classified as fit or unfit when it comes to displaying any kind of flag. Not the citizen's! Private property that you own is a different story, as long as it isn't racially motivated, or classified or listed as porn, or explicit sexual content that may offend others.

I think people who make up the majority of an area deserve to decide what kind of flags the streets they live in have installed. That's the least amount of right they should own. Our stupid little town in central Ohio is allowing the LBGT flag to be flown at a church right in the middle of town. Someone burned it last summer; but they have another one flying there now.
