There's a few videos out there, but none that worked 'til I saw yours here. Thanks! **NOTE** After you do all the programming, you have to hold the requisite button down for a 2-3 second count before the garage door will actually open/close. I thought it wasn't working 'til I held it down. Works flawlessly! I believe this is so you don't accidentally bump the button, & open it while leaving. CHEERS!!!
Just an FYI for those that may have a newer Chamberlain or LiftMaster garage door, it uses Security+ 2.0 which the older Homelink cannot do. I tried and tried like this video shows and it will not work. As Ericthecarguy shows in another video, you can buy like an adapter module and remote that can then relay to the Homelink one. But rather than buy something that seems less than ideal, I’ll just stick with my clip-on remote.
How I did it was press the button on the garage door motor and run to the car with 25 seconds remaining and spam the button that you want programmed until the door opens or closes
Perfect! Thank you. I looked around for 20 minutes at different videos and even read my car manual but your instructions worked right away! I don't have your type of garage opener machine. And I have a different vehicle than yours (2001 avalon). But within 30 seconds everything synced.
This was terrific. Nothing I got with my manual helped like this did. Was very good to see how long you had to hold your fingers on the buttons. Hurray it works👍
This did not work on my DeLorean.

Nice job on this tutorial!
Thanks.
Thanks for the video. My actuator broke, can I program this with just the car only?
No you need the actuator.
And a 2023 too

Thanks! Our garage spring and opener just broke and got replaced, so now our new opener is paired to our 2013 Ford Edge!
Just moved in to a rental and there is no clicker can the visor be programmed using the base unit
That's actually probably the easiest solution, so yes.
Bravo! Your instructions were perfect! I was able to program my 99RX 300! Thank you!
Of course! Share this with everyone!
Perfect! Just did it on a 2003 Lexus RX300. Thanks!

Not workin am I pressing any buttons on my lift master receiver or non
You might need a universal remote clicker. Then you program that to the Homelink.
@@StephenPhillips how do I know if I have a universal I just have the one that came with it.
@@Sillywhitedaddy You'll need to go to home depot to get one
