flying Lo Lo pass and the gorge to chehalis frep720p

We picked up our plane at Stene Aviation in Polson and made a dash in a brief weather window for Chehalis via Missoula, Lo Lo pass and the Columbia Gorge. A brief rain shower caught us as we approached Cascade Locks but eased off into clearer weather. As we approached Kelso the rain picked up again and a cloud layer began forming at about 700 agl so we landed safely there in pouring rain. Just 50 miles to go. So we rented a car and went back for our freshly washed bird two days later. What a fun adventure.
